Ammo for the Doctor, inflation soars
Submitted by evolution2008 on Thu, 12/13/2007 - 10:07
Reported this morning:
Producer prices soar 3.2 percent in November, the biggest rise in 34 years, on a record rise in gasoline prices, the Labor Department said on Thursday.
Producer prices are the first to move up and then past to the consumer. The Government is having a hard time hiding the fact of the hidden Tax.
Hope Dr. Paul pounces on this in today's speeches and talks.

286 Computers
My theory is that somehow they use the value of 286 computers to figure the core inflation rate. Or I'm shopping in all the wrong places.
Let the Spin Begin
I wonder how it's going to be spun....hmmm...
Not to worry...
When you strip out all of the items you need to live, prices only rose by a mere 0.1 % for the month. ;)

"Make fun buddy..." - Ron Paul
Huh?
What products are not affected by fuel prices?
Liberty = Responsibility
Liberty = Responsibility
sigh...
I was being sarcastic.
American public consumes headlines
and headline news was Inflation rises by the greatest amount in 34 years!
We know that what the the Government has been using Chinese labor statistics to pad down their inflation numbers. Chinese child slave labor at 32 cents an hour and import those products which get fed into LOW inflation results.
Reality is that anything using American labor is going up, Medical, insurance, gasoline, home prices etc.
I think this growing anger is feeding into the Ron Paul movement as the pie here is getting smaller as US exports its assets through purchases of cheap Chinese goods, buying Crude at Inflated prices and with ever increasing interest payments to the Saudi's.
Timing is good to call the Good Doctor.
(Insert gratefull dead song here: "DOCTOR, DOCTOR" )
Headline news: November CPI up 0.8 percent
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Consumer prices jumped a bigger-than-expected 0.8 percent in November, the sharpest climb in more than two years....

Liberty = Responsibility
Liberty = Responsibility
That's understandable
I just figured I'd try sarcasm instead of ranting about how inflation statistics are massaged using statistical tricks like geographic weighting, intervention analysis and hedonic adjustments. That way, people wouldn't get overwhelmed. Good thing, eh?
