We need an amendment to the Constitution: "Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of movement."

Has anyone checked with the border station on this one?!? This person was also arrested a few days before this in a similar incident, by "mall cops"?!? And was that him also last summer?!? Sure making a lot of recordings it appears?!?

When exactly did this man threaten the officer? I must have missed it. All that I heard was officers threatening this man.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter,
I'm a Ron Paul supporter, pro-liberty and anti most of the federal Govt. policies in the US. I also am an American citizen living in Canada. I give the American border guards a pass on this incident. They were doing their jobs. I wish they would police the southern border as tightly as the Canadian border. The US Constitution only applies to American citizens. All others come into the country with their "hat in their hands" in my view. The border guards have the broad authority to stop and question anyone for any or no reason. Don't want to be stopped and questioned? Don't go to the border.

It is still unfortunate
They clearly did not do anything to warrant the actions of the border officials.
All officials should be aware that after the globalists get done with the people who are harmlessly wanting to live their lives, that they (the officials) could be next.
Perhaps not in Phase I, but Phase II or III... There would be no one left over to defend their rights.
Systems who set up such practices are known to prey upon the very people who aided them to their power. Check history and you will see the examples.
And, even if they survive the changes, their children must grow up in the world they helped to create.
Thank God or whatever you believe in that they are not going to succeed, because they won't - they cannot.

It's interesting that many folks here are comparing the U.S.A./Canada border with the EU. Not a very good comparison. Maybe they would be happy with a North American Union (much better comparison to the EU) so they can cross borders more easily? Heck, the money would be the same too!

Yes, I do remember crossing
Yes, I do remember crossing the U.S.-Canada border in the '80s and '90s, and they questioned me then as to why I was entering their country, and vice-versa on the way back. Back then, if you were a smartass, they'd pull you over for further interrogation too.
It it unfortunate, the events that lead to requiring a passport now, etc., but I was noticing that some posters in this thread were comparing the U.S.-Canada border crossing to EU nations' borders. Not a good comparison as we do not have a union of countries here to compare it to. Crossing the Nevada-California border may be a more accurate comparison.

I had an American girlfriend and I know from her stories how bad Canadian border cops can be too.
Yes the EU countries created a special agreement to enable easy travel between countries.
When I lived in Europe in recent years I loved it -
you could live in one country on the border and visit another one daily every day with just a few seconds of time taken by border guards.
