Web Traffic Explodes to New Heights!
Submitted by Robbie Tester on Mon, 08/13/2007 - 11:37
See the graph for www.ronpaul2008.com over the last 6 months compared to the sites of the other big name Republican candidates. In the last week, it exploded to new heights! Here's the link:

Also, check out the awesome chart for www.dailypaul.com. It too has blasted into uncharted territory! Link:

The word is getting out folks....we must continue to chip away at it. Everybody keep up the good work!

Before we pat ourselves on the back too much, ...
...consider: all the increase in the web traffic here might be due to ronpaulforums.com being down.
Not saying Mike's not done a good job. He has done phenomenal work! But we need to be objective.
Foo
Foofighter,
I believe I recognize you as a moderator from the forums . . .
First, I'm not giving kudos to us, but to Michael. He's doing the hard work with this blog. I also believe that the Daily Paul is the best Ron Paul blog out there. And I am not just noting the spike in traffic during the straw poll, but the overall traffic during the last few months.
As for the forums, the more time we are left without them, the less effective we will be in coordinating. Without the forums, Lord Xar would not have been able to put together his great ads.
But I agree that 'we' should not pat ourselves on the back. There is much work to do and time is running fast. We need the forums up and running.
Cheers,
Blofeld
I'm just saying...
...we all need to keep things in perspective, is all.
The "we" was more of just an addressing of the effort all of us have put into the campaign and the MeetUps. It was not directed at anyone person in particular. It was a general address of everyone, pretty much.
Josh is working the problems @ RPF, but it might be a while...
And again, Michael has done great work, but like I said, we need to be objective when considering the source of the traffic spike.
Same with the official campaign site: the high traffic there was probably due to the live video feed, both there and here at DailyPaul, coupled with RPF being down.
Realize that a lot of us need our Ron Paul fix (Ron Paul anonymous, anyone?) and with the forums down, seek out other means.
By keeping things in perspective, we will realize that the job isn't done until 05 Nov 2008. And there's plenty of work to do.
November?
Well, the "complete" job won't be finished until Nov 2008. However, if we don't do enough work between now and January/February, then the job will be over then....way before November! In my opinion winning the Republican Nomination is going to be the hard part. If he can succeed in getting the nomination, he ought to handle Hilary or Obama fairly easily because he will have a chance to present his message to ALL Americans....and we all understand what happens when people hear his powerful and inspiring message, don't we?! :) We've just got to do everything we can between now and January to help him win the primary.....so he'll have that chance!
Yes, pat!
Not talking about necessarily the traffic of the day or week, just that his site is johnny on the spot with informative RP info., and a centralized place for all supporters to go.

Nystrom
Indeed! Michael Nystrom has done a fantastic job with this site. If we can get Ron elected, he should be thanked at the Whitehouse for possibly being the single biggest factor in that occurring. Thank you all that continue to do a great job and a special thanks to Michael.
Hope I didn't offend anyone as there have been some very special sacrafices made by many.
Take notice media and Washington: Ron Paul's coming and we're coming with him!

Kudos to Manystrom!
Kudos to Michael Nystrom!
Congratulations and thank you for your amazing blog.
Check out the traffic to the Daily Paul for the last few months. It appears the Daily Paul is getting MORE traffic than the top tier candidates according to Alexa!
This is a real revolution.
Concur with Kudos to Nystrom
I try to turn everyone onto the dailypaul. All of us who support Ron Paul owe Michael our thanks. Can you imagine the time and effort it takes to keep this site current, well-edited and informative? This is a true "grassroots" effort that is empowering and educational for all. KUDOS.

Thank you for confirming that. Foofighter is a great RP fan and love 'em, but nothing wrong with giving Michael Nystrom a pat on the back serving as positive reinforcement on a "daily" basis.
We all know that the job is a million miles from over. Done writing for the day.....haven't mentioned RP to anyone new today, and that bothers me!
