"Mitt Romney is no longer

"Mitt Romney is no longer with Baine. He may be an empty suite and a shameless politician (you can see and hear his panic when asked a controversial question), but I think calling him a Nazi and attacking Mormonism is unfair."

Cheney no longer officially worked for Haliburton !!!!
Dont be fooled, this is another campaign of the thought police to indoctrinate the young and pacify the old. Romney rubbing shoulders with the like of Murdoch really is a telling tale, almost as telling as G.W. Bush senior working along side of the Clinton campaign. I hope that the Hillary loving left wakes up and smells the NAU before its too late.

the seller sells because

Faux news and Rupert Murdoch with the ny times myspace google face book.... thats just murdoch enterprises, clearchannel is Murdoch's balance to monopoly... watch free trade as it is now most industry has 2 monopolies and they sold it because the rockerfellers could not quell a second out lash for "cornering markets" like during the industrial revolution.

Rupert Murdoch =owns fox ny times ect

clearchannel = formerly buiderberger group, (rockerfeller) sold to anointed Romney.

Yet we talk about free press!

And yet we need comedians to provide us entertainment! I sertiously hought this was a joke. ...I really wonder what "free press", "reporting facts" means then. Is there a law about freedom of press ( I am not talking about first amnedment of Constitution) as to how much can a individual can own a media outlet?
Keep it coming.

I don't believe this

I don't believe this because it is not on the Lew rockwell site. I log on to lew rockwell's blog (google lew and it is the first or second listing) several times a day and did not see it then or now.

But I am getting psyched for the tea party!!!!!

Subject TItle Wrong

The subject title is wrong. Mitt Romney is not buying Clear Channel, but Bain Capital, the company he originally founded and worked with for many years, is. This news story is on Google News if you search for it.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/fn/5373620.html

It is not a direct tie in, but it is close enough, especially in an election year, to make one very suspicious.

Not His Company Anymore

As pointed out below, Romney no longer owns or works with Bain Capital at this time. However, I still find this move somewhat disturbing during an election year. With Romney having founded and worked with this company for many years, there are certainly still connections. He may even have unofficial power over aspects of the company business. No matter what, this needs to be brought up to public attention, and Romney should have to answer questions regarding this merger. This is big news that indicates at least the possibility of buying an election.

parasites....

i dont know of any other way to describe them......they suck up all the wealth and cheapen the american dream, yet they produce nothing....

Why isn't this...

Why isn't this showing up on the LRC blog site directly?

The link provided goes to a LRC blog post dated today at 12:25 pm. But when I go to www.lewrockwell.com and click on the blog, I don't find this post in today's stuff.

According to the link above, this item ought to be right next to the "Cops Gone Wild, Vol. XXXXXXX..." post (which I do see when I go to the blog). But the Romney story is not there for me except through the link above.

i came here to call BS....

but then i realized it was actually real....

this is outrageous!!

"Truth is treason in the empire of lies." - Ron Paul

This is scary...

Not that he could use dictate to the press to win his election.

What is scary is the thought of having a president whom literally owns the press...

Mitt Romney is no longer

Mitt Romney is no longer with Baine. He may be an empty suite and a shameless politician (you can see and hear his panic when asked a controversial question), but I think calling him a Nazi and attacking Mormonism is unfair.

granted...

but he bailed them out bigtime in the early 90s. at the very least, they OWE HIM BIG! Mitts tentacles are definantley in this

Romney makes my skin crawl

Even more the Ghouliani. He's a quick silver, shady politician of the highese order. This is the man who when asked if he were President, would he declare War without Congressional approval and answered, "I'd consult my lawyers".

I guess we'd need a real big tea party

to buy something like that....huh?

What's will $19 billion be worth in 10 years? Enough to buy like a nice dish machine and a pack of Camels?

T

Unify

Can you say undue influence?

This scares the hell out of me. Next thing you know, they're buying up internet service providers.

So will this violate

So will this violate McCain-Feingold, or the Blimp??

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for James Madison.

The blimp is rented

The blimp is rented advertising space not bought

WOWWW

I cant find any news on this. will this be blacked out?

Blowback???

This might actually backfire on Romney, IF (and that's a big IF) this gets media coverage. It's such a blatant conflict of interest. What is our recourse? Who has oversight of the FCC?

If the system were healthy, the press would be part of the checks and balances, holding politicians accountable. But in this day where the press is owned by the very corporations who sit at the government trough, and they all attend the same Christmas party, the American public is short-changed.

I would think the hosts of all these radio shows should be concerned. A situation like this calls all their credability (assuming they have some) into question, and could forever color how their opinions are received.

Yeah thats weird that

Yeah thats weird that article on the other site says 2006.

This News is all over the Internet

However, the Old Media has yet to report about it.

The Internet is the new mainstream media.

"The Internet is the new

"The Internet is the new mainstream media."

Yeah, I really hope so, but I fear soon it won't be the glorious de-centralized medium for free speech of the everyday common folk (that is, ordinary people not connected to big government or big elites) that it is today. The whole internet infrastructure will probably be regulated and controlled by the aforementioned very soon...the big corps already own the modes of data transport across the internet (AT&T, Time-Warner, etc.). The big question is, how do we keep the internet free so that truth can continue to spread?

You can run for president

You can't run for president and buy a business at the sametime? If Dr. Paul bought it you'd be on his nutz.
