Bump: Shades of America's future.

"Earlier Sunday, Greece outlined strict measures, including cuts in civil servants' salaries and pensions, and tax increases, as part of an agreement reached late Saturday night with the IMF and EU.

[BIG BROTHER SAVE US!]

"We are called on today to make a basic choice. The choice is between collapse or salvation," Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou said before flying to Brussels.

[This is sad.]

The voters were idiots

to elect leaders who bellied up to the IMF trough. I'm sure it IS generational for the young who weren't of voting age but they need to ask themselves if their current hindsight would exist without the crisis. IOW, wouldn't they be just as clueless?

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

How is Iceland faring?

Didn't they vote that the debt owed was not owed by the citizens of Iceland? Their crisis began way before the one in Greece.

"We will live much worse than

"We will live much worse than our parents," he said. "Why should we be made to pay for their mistakes?"

With 33 states of the US facing bankruptcy, I'm sure that question will be coming up here as well.

I hope it doesn't become a generational rift, because it's not a generational thing. This theme of fiscal mismanagement and enslavement through debt has been in the works for a long, long time.

A recommendation for states facing bankruptcy

You always hear talk about the "Middle Man." The Middle Man here is the federal government. They collect money/taxes from individuals in each state, keep a portion of the money, then they distribute the money back to the state it came from.

Have your ever seen or heard of a Federal School or a Federal Road. Schools are public, local, city or exempeted village schools not "federal schools." Roads are state, county, city or township roads not "federal roads." These are just some examples that will let you know that these programs are wasting tax dollars.

It's time that states consider "eliminating" the Middle Man. Keep the money in the state, why send it to Washington where they will keep portion and not provide any service or product. Eliminate the Middle Man aka non-essential federal government programs.

They are all joined at the hip

At every level of government there are incorporated municipalities, local, county, city, and state. They are all public entities of a corporate nature. They have been deceived by their own ignorance to contract and do business with the mother-ship the "United States Inc." In these various contracts they are required to perform their end of the bargain, that is provide funds to the Fed Gov for the benefits they provide. Keep the States and Local gov in debt so they can control them and by extension control us.

Protect yourself, nobody I know can or will stop a slow motion train crash, as it has all ready began!

There are several States considering this

And even some counties are "Holding" State taxes.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

"I hope it doesn't become a generational rift"

Government run health care. Think about it. Not good.

"Think about it."

I try not to, thinking about it makes me buy more ammo.

Read John Perkins

"Confessions of an Economic Hit Man." Also, Naomi Klein "Shock Doctrine." These books will tell you that these countries were SET UP TO FAIL. This scam has been played other countries and this is going to go down here in the US. We are being played big time.

"We can see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our touch, but we understand with our hearts."

I did see his work

Forced loans that keep them in slavery. Good for the Greek citizens to not accept those chains!
