Daily Paul All Time Greatest Threads

Hi Friends! Today is my birthday - I'm 42 years old!

Quiltingsando's Namedropper thread was one of the best of all time. I'm astounded by the breadth & depth of people that others have learned of via the DP, as listed in that thread.

So I've got another idea: The greatest DP threads of all time!

When I had the site upgrade done, all the old threads got closed to new comments. Sometimes members will email me to ask that I open a favorite thread back up.

If you've got an old thread bookmarked, that you learned something from, please post it in the comments below.

Example:

I'm looking forward to them. Thank you all for this wonderful site.
Michael

Happy Birthday!

I can't think of one at the moment to refer to, but I can think of one post I've been trying to find again on here forever. It was my favorite and it went something like this...

"Is anyone else just as annoyed no by those that are obsessed with the superbowl or other stuff like that...ets.."

I think I liked the comments the best, but can't recall em. It was from sometime in 2009.

That;s all I got....Happy B-day again! Thanks 4 the site!

Happy Birthday Michael and

Happy Birthday Michael and you will be remembered by many by contributing with this websit. It certainly marked a boom of learning during my lifetime.

I used to like the threads where a certain republicae would upload to us alot of knowledge on important economic issues. Never saw him again.

This one was from about a year ago

Nostalgia-ridden thread about the 2007-2008 efforts.

Also, was it on RonPaulforums or here where the term "money bomb" first showed up? I was following that thread, but I don't think I posted. It was fun to watch the frustration of needing to make an impact coalesce around the term and I'll have the memory of witnessing history (and participating in a test bomb). We haven't seen the last of the impact of the money bomb, in politics or charity work.

Thanks for keeping that one Wiz, its inspiring.

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

you really kept that thread going, cyndezu ... thank you ...

1751 diggs with 224 reader comments on the LA TImes homage to Dave!

It was quite a moving phenomenon. (sniff)

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/comments_blog/2008/08/top-of...

On a National electoral map update, dave made a post at 4:10 in the morning, West Coast time:

"so some will dream of a blue donkey, and others hope for a red elephant to save them, and many fail to see they'll fall again, for the same deceitful purple cow. only when people stop to vote for political parties, or the interests of corporations and cartels, and banking dynasties, but reserve their vote for someone who will represent their own vital interests, and is accountable to them - only then can they reclaim their country, and see their rights and liberties restored. to implement constitutional principles and values in government and politics, will guarantee true and lasting benefits for everyone. this can best be done, by people of wisdom and integrity, such as RON PAUL."

The beer thread...

Utter genius...thanks Jaydh!

The RJ Harris troll thread

To me the DP helps in so many ways. I searched but I can't find the thread now... A while back the entire DP community rallied around RJ Harris to fight back a troll who registered 10 minutes before launching a personal attack. Too funny.

Props to Liberty_Belle for finding the Paul-aholic thread! That's my #2.

Happy Birthday, Michael

... and thank you for the gift of this gathering place. I respect your dedication to our shared principles and appreciate your generous hospitality in making your house our home.

Many classics come to mind ( and I hope to post more later), but here is one that provoked me out of a hiatus not that long ago. It began with a fine, original article offered up by that reliable instigator of good thought -- xntrykl :

In fairness...

no nominating your own thread. :)

Bump for the afternoon.

Happy Birthday on this Constitution Memorial Day!

Michael, Happy Birthday on May 3rd Constitution Memorial Day (in Japan)!

My twin sisters were born on this day, too, in 1954. Our parents named them "The Century of Truth (Makiko)" and "The Century of Freedom (Yukiko)". I guess they were aspiring for the same dream and hope as we are here at DailyPaul. . . way across the Pacific Ocean over half a century ago. . . :-)

A very Happy

Birthday to you Mr. Nystrom! Thanks so much for this wonderful place to share.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

happy b-day

and many more

That huge gardening thread

from a couple of years ago. Maybe this will jog someone's memory and he can fish it out of his bookmarks.

Martfuncher's original gardening thread!

I remember! It was so full of info and really got everyone motivated. Serious shame if that one is lost! Anyone know what happened to Martfuncher?

Michael Nystrom's picture

Thank you all.

I'm going down into my man cave to work on a new poster. Hopefully I'll be able to get it done ... I'll let you know.

Nothing I'd rather do on my birthday. Keep the threads coming, and thank you all for the birthday wishes.

He's the man.

Happy Birthday, Michael and many more!

We met you at the Revolution March in July 2008 in DC, and you gave us some of your bumper stickers, "Ron Paul Represents Me", which we still proudly display on our car.

Anyhow, here is the thread I enjoyed reading:UPDATE! A Constitutional Flub? Or evidence of two constitutions?

Too many more to list!

Happy Birthday Michael

Woohoo! You were born in the same month as me, I have a birthday coming up on the 15th, the big 60.

The name dropper thread is wonderful because, it shows that I have a lot more research to do. So many names to google and learn about, thank you to everyone for adding names.

I like all the threads because each gives us something to ponder but the threads that were MOST helpful or revealing for me were.

The hundred things you need for survival.

The chicken thread. hee,hee Mike Lawson thread motivated me to go get my own and I love my little girls.

Youtube videos like the one where George Bush called the "Constitution nothing but a god damned piece of paper". That floored me.

The documentary on the "Argentina Economic Collapse" that revealed our future. There was also a thread by bloggers from Argentina and Zimbabwe that revealed what it was like to try to get by day by day. Yikes!

I knew nothing about the stock market or economics those taught me a lot.

I love the Liberty musicians and Positive Activism threads showing our patriots in action.

All the threads that raises questions about 9-11, vaccines, chem trails etc. Especially, when they have whistle blowers revealing inside info.

Of course, all the Ron Paul videos and our wonderful Liberty candidates.

I would be hard pressed to name a favorite, it is like my chickens they are all eggcellent. LOL

Now I know why you're so persistent. We bulls have to stick together!

Yes, my husband

Here is the documentary on

the Argentina collapse. Not a happy thing to watch on your birthday but it is revealing.
