Landscaper with gas can causes bomb scare in Union square
Submitted by meekandmild on Fri, 05/14/2010 - 13:53An Oldsmobile parked with two gas cans in its back seat triggered a Thursday night bomb scare near Union Square - but it was just the latest false alarm in a city on edge, police said.
The NYPD sealed off Union Square around 10:15 p.m. as the bomb squad investigated the 1991 Cutlass Ciera outside the Con Edison headquarters on Irving Pl., near E. 14th St.
The drama lasted for more than two hours as the bomb squad X-rayed the creepy clunker and deployed a technician in a protective suit to take a closer look.

Serves those morons right...Maybe they thought ManBearPig was hiding in one of those gas cans. I just went to the gas station to grab a burger, and I saw at least 20 potential terrorist there...some even had diesel AND fertilizer...where were the bomb squads in Byng Oklahoma?..LMAO!
