Good for them! I wish healthier food was more affordable for all of us, it would happen if the government would simply get out of the way. Alas! Alack, they won't!

"Farmer Achievers" license plates. Raise money for farmers.

The farmer is true value. (not the derivitive trader)
Mandatory income per year for a farmer:
$100,000 somethings,
maybe even 100,000 hugs. Let me see, that's 273 hugs per day. You'd either get pick pocketed, or you'd end up having something in your pocket, because those 100,000 persons love you farmer, and value you farmer. . .
and to the world, we the people can be very powerful when working toward the same goals.
Farmers help us focus, it's in our dna.

And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

we vote with our purchases of

healthy farm products direct from local farmers

Yes! that's what I do:

I buy wheat from the local farmers, at the price they get from the granaries. And I buy raw milk from a local farmer too. (alas, this is illegal in my state). I hope it keeps up, but in case it doesn't, I have a goat who is almost old enough to breed for milk.

I like that idea

Thats great!

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.
