Trey Grayson about DailyPaul: “That’s crazy"

Grayson said he was at the event for a half-hour and shook hands with participants and potential voters but didn’t give a speech.

“That’s crazy,” he said, when told of the Daily Paul post.

Grayson is responding to this laughably-fake story posted here that depressingly a lot of people here actually fell for.

EDIT (LINK REMOVED): looks like the trash has been taken out. Thanks admins.

Easy there RPFIGa

It's about as honest mistake as reading an Onion article out of context. Besides, I had my head examined; the psych sent me to this site!

I left this jackass a very

I left this jackass a very harsh comment on his rag.
what a liar!
Its funny because I was going to ask BMD to delete that story
electionink is a satire news site for those who dont know. Nothing they post is credible. I dont post there although I used to post on the obama forum. It became too rough for my taste.

Freedom. Watch this video
Pls donate here Ron Paul can still win

The comments here may be very telling

including the one from a poster named, Lisa Graas (h ttp://genuinegopmom.blogspot.com/2010/05/daily-paul-prints-false-story-about.html)
"YOU'RE A DIRT BAG DAVID! I was there too and it wasn't as bad as this article makes it sound. Why don't you take a shower, i don't know which one your where, but you all look dirty? You and your friends were probably drunk. Everyone love's Trey, a few drunk bikers shouldn't be acknowledged, just there to cause trouble."

And David M.
"I'm the David mentioned in this article. Thanks for the heads up on the article. It was fun meeting you guys. My wife has some cell phone footage. Im gonna ask her to post a video. I think she knows how.

I didn't mean to sound to harsh towards the candidate, he just seems a little out of touch with reality. Plus, something disturbing about a man with "soft hands" talking about war. ( h ttp://electionink.com/content.php/181-Trey-Grayson-Asked-To-Leave-Biker-Rally-Campaign-Stop#comments )

Not to mention the response from Grayson's campaign office, "Ask to comment on this incident, his campaign office ((859) 757-4349) said they felt the event went well. " A few hecklers is to be expected" asked how they there chance of winning Tuesday..."We already have the victory party planned"

So David the ball is in your court, but IMO the writing is already on the wall.

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

Were you in the chat room today during the debate?

Lisa is nothing but a troublemaker and, as far as her comments go, they border on slander.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

I'm already familiar with the character

'Laughably fake'? Seemed entirely plausible to me, as does the above post. Nothing in the post was inconsistent with what I know of Grayson's beliefs and behavior, nor the idea that a group of motorcycle riding Vietnam veterans might not support escalation in Iraq and invasion of Iran. The only thing that I found difficult to believe is that Grayson might actually have the cojones to state the party line so plainly.

Who's more laughable here, a few folks who chose to take stock in the post, or the troll-chump who posted it? I say the latter.

Wrong Answer

It's a parody site. To believe what was meant as over the top satire, you'd have to believe:

1. Grayson gave a speech in which the first thing he talked about was going to war with Iran.

2. That no one but this fringe website knew of this and said anything of it. No other blogs, mainstream journalists or people with camcorders saw it.

3. That a guy named "Henry Hussack" exists (hint: a google search of his name only returns this article.)

4. That a website with a "Trey Grayson forum" that is tantamount to the "Fred Thompson Forum" of Ron Paul's presidential run is legit.

It's also the same website, as mentioned before, that said a month ago that Grayson is a closet homosexual that had an affair and put out this gem about making Rand Paul look bad on purpose (pretended to be written by that 'crash the tea parties' guy):

IT'S SATIRE. To be quite frank, anyone who believed it for more than one second needs their head examined.

I don't think it's "a parody site"

I'm looking at it right now--there is also normal serious stuff on it as well.

Or No....

It looks entirely legit to me:

Made by the 'Obama Forum' people. Pimps Trey Grayson (opponent of Rand Paul), the democratic opponent for Schiff and Nancy Pelosi (opponent of John Dennis.)

Yeah, I'm sure there is just a TON of overlap between Trey Grayson and Nancy Pelosi fans. And it's all one big coincidence that they support all the candidates "our" liberty candidates are opposing. Clearly made by a jokester on "our" side.

The gullible amongst us are getting PUNKED.

I'm a member.

People are definitely getting punked.

I never spent any time on the fake Thompson forum but the fake Huckabee site these guys had was the funniest site on the internet. Photoshopwiz will back me on that.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

"Election Ink" is a SPOOF site and not a credible news source.

We don't need lies to defeat Grayson. His record will do that.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

It may be crazy, but is it true?

Ryan Alessi (in typical blogger fashion?) failed to properly attribute the article or the website that carried it.

We often get topics here for review, analysis and criticism. We're a large and discriminating audience and from the start this site's veracity was challenged. There is no reason for being embarrassed over our consistency and vigilance for the truth.

That said, if I had been there myself, I would have questions akin to those allegedly made by the bikers/veterans.

In fact I had made similar comments to my Senate candidate during the last election cycle. I have also sent several letters with those views to my current Congressmen.

Free includes debt-free!

Yeah. It was a post on the internet someone just posted here

with a link. That isn't the way the story is being spread, of course. Still, for the future, I wonder if we can ad a 'report' button or something to suspend a post? Or is that too subject to abuse? The confirmation that this was a fake story (which some of our comments already suspected) came after most posters, and admins, apparently, were off.

Integrity means having to say things that people don't want to hear & especially to say things that the regime doesnt want to hear -RonPaul

Or Better Yet

Ban anything from that shady "ElectionInk" website.
