Norwegian Political dissident and former foreign office lawyer, Synnøve Fjellbakk Taftø, has been forcibly hospitalized for "psychiatric treatment" for the 5th. time(!) after she, following the 1994 EU membership referendum started accusing the Norwegian authorities of deceiving the nation by signing a quasi EU membership accepting a clearly unconstitutional Brussel's rule in spite of the people twice having voted NO to EU membership in national referendums in 1972 and 1994. Her forced internment came a few days after publishing the following article, where she accuses the Norwegian foreign minister, Jonas Gahr Störe, of primarily being an agent for globalist interests:
The article is in Norwegian, but I found the automatic Google English translation readable enough to understand the broad context (to translate just click the American flag under the heading "Translator" out on the right edge.
Psychiatric "treatment" of political dissidents used to be a Soviet speciality, that now seems to live on in perfect health in Norway.

I was recently made aware of your an article posted on your site, by truud2. Specifically, the article titled "Norway: The Last of the Soviet dictature's republics?"
While I did find it somewhat interesting, I feel obliged to point out that the website which was referred to, Nyhetsspeilet, is at best unreliable as a source of information. The authors are, for lack of a better term, conspiracy nuts. Their articles have rarely, if ever, based on facts, but rather conspiracy theories, rumors and, at times, sheer propaganda.
As an example of their dubious standing as a source to be taken seriously, I've included some links to other articles (All articles can be translated by the flags on the right side menu).

The reason I am taking an interest in this, is that I myself am a Norwegian citizen and patriot, with experience with the Norwegian governments mental health policies (as a patient, not an employee). Based on that, I found the implication that Norway is a corrupt government that incarcerates political dissidents without trial, like the former U.S.S.R., offensive.
Normally, a random article like this wouldn't bother me the slightest, but as I understand it, your site is not only read by many, but also well respected as a serious newsletter.Whether the information in the source article is true or not, I'll not comment on. Some of it may well be true (Norway, like all countries, has it's share of problems), but it is undoubtedly written from an extremely biased point of view.
So I respectfully ask that, should a more reliable source be unavailable, the article be removed or at least marked as speculation/hearsay.

Erik A.G.M. doesn't like the site where Synnøve Fjellbakk Taftø published her article because it also has some articles about UFOs and similar strange phenomena. I agree that Nyhetsspeilet is far from being any kind of peer reviewed scientific journal, but the truth is they were the only ones with a large enough readership to be interesting that dared to publish her very controversial and politically critical article. And I'm unable to see what on earth articles on UFOs have to do with a political article authored by a respected former diplomat and Foreign Office lawyer who discovered some very foul and unconstitutional play by the Norwegian socialist Labour government
I suspect that the real aim of Erik A.G.M. was to discredit the allegations and facts in the article, by associating it to some totally unrelated fairy tales in the same online magazine, Sorry about breathing new life into a dead issue but I keep getting comments about this posting in my mail, and so want to make my position clear regarding where Synnøve Fjellbakk Taftø's article was published and Erik A.G.M.'s obvious guilt by association kind of criticism of it.

Having single handedly fought the Norwegian government's lies about the covert and unconstitutional Norwegian EU membership for almost 20 years and consequently suffered 5 forced mental hospitalizations, trying to turn her into a rambling zombie, from which she had recently fought her way back to sanity, I guess brave is an appropriate description
But we're worried about what's happening to her at the moment since they won't let her communicate with us, so we're trying to bring some international attention to what's going on over here.
