Newt group gets money campaigns can't

Gingrich’s political group, American Solutions for Winning the Future, has a major fundraising advantage over the others, because — as a so-called 527 group — it can accept unlimited contributions from people and corporations.

Regarding Palin: I believe we are watching in real time the rise of the third party, which will be controlled by the powers that be from its' inception.

Now he's on Fox....

making the rounds, on the pretense of promoting his book, he is testing the waters (again). And he's comparing himself *ad nausem* to Reagan!! ugh..Every other sentence is Reagan, Reagan, Reagan...

I wonder how Gingrich would

I wonder how Gingrich would respond if asked his opinion on the Rand controversy seeing that Reagan was a big Goldwater supporter and Rand's position has basically been that of Goldwater.

Ronnie may have something to say about that...

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

I would love it if someone came on

and brought up his hypocrisy of having oral sex with Ann Manning while he was impeaching Clinton for the same thing. Yup...he wants to run on the family values platform! For one thing, Gingrich pioneered a denial of adultery that some observers would later christen "the Newt Defense": Oral sex doesn't count. In a revealing psychological portrait of the "inner" Gingrich that appeared in Vanity Fair (September 1995), Gail Sheehy uncovered a woman, Anne Manning, who had an affair in Washington in 1977 with a married Gingrich.

"We had oral sex," Manning revealed. "He prefers that modus operandi because then he can say, 'I never slept with her.'" She added that Gingrich threatened her: "If you ever tell anybody about this, I'll say you're lying."

Manning was then married to a professor at West Georgia, the backwater college where Gingrich taught. "I don't claim to be an angel," she told Sheehy, but "he's morally dishonest."

Gingrich refused to comment on Manning's charges, though he has admitted sexual indiscretions during his first marriage -- hey, it was the '70s, man! But Newt's oral sex denial proved embarrassing at a time when he was the secular leader of the "family values" crowd, appearing frequently at Christian Coalition gatherings.

During Gingrich's 1995 summer book tour, when he was testing the waters for a presidential bid, demonstrators hounded him about his oral sex hypocrisy.

Most Americans tolerate sexual impropriety...

Because they're involved in it themselves. We are a wicked nation - we get the leadership we deserve. There used to be a time when the bright lights of people desiring to live righteous lives shone down on the capitals around our nation.

Today, the nation is dark - and Washington is just of reflection of this. If you really want to change our nation, you must change the individual hearts of man. Man must turn his heart towards God first, his wife second, his family next, then his church, then job, then outward from there. We won't have a strong nation unless we have a morally strong people.

When I went to the Mackinac Island GOP conference in Michigan when Ron Paul visited, I heard him say this. You can't have a Republic without two things - personal responsibility and morality. There you go - straight from the mouth or Ron.

If you're not a God-fearing person, consider it, as the Bible says in Proverbs 1:7, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Turn your eyes upon Jesus. If you are a Christian, share the Gospel - and don't turn your back on the stewardship principles when caring for your nation.

Newt disqualifies himself in my book at the office of President, or any leader, requires a higher level of scruples; a higher level of trust; and a more solemn and sober awareness that you represent the trust of many.

Restore the Foundations - "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
