This media whore bag will say and do anything her General Electric war machine paycheck writer wants. We were thrown under the bus so many times by the MSM with RP last time we learned to attack back fast with more truth then the liars can deflect. The people of this country know whats going on.

“In the beginning of change, the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for it costs nothing to be a patriot.”

Mark Twain

An interesting analogy? I

An interesting analogy? I wonder who "thrums" her tuning fork? Her witch-hunt for the dark side of individual rights of property owners versus the collective rights of publicly funded institutions has certainly provoked heated discussions.

Rachel Maddow and her "interview" with Rand Paul

If there is one kind of person who is lower, more filthy, and more disreputable than the most ignorant bigots, it is the kind of person who covers up their inability to disagree in a civil and intelligent way by recourse to slander and public defamation! A public figure, like Rachel Madcow shows herself to be such a person when she focuses upon Rand Paul's criticism of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by imputing "racism" to him.

There are many good reasons for any American--especially one of libertarian sympathies--to find the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and, for that matter, the enabling by the XIV Amendment to the Constitution, most troubling. The misuse of the legislation to create legalized "quotas", the enforcement of discrimination by government fiat against White people, especially White Males; the shameless exploitation of that law, and others like it, to rip off businesses by initiating senseless and appallingly expensive lawsuits for the benefit of parasitic lawyers and activists of sundry left-wing causes, etc...

These reasons for detesting such a law, and others like it, would have nothing to do with anybody's supposed racism!

When one considers that the same kind of people who are today so free with labels like "racism", were hysterical with paranoid anxiety when a certain rather noisy Senator from Wisconsin started characterising their kind as "communists" in 1950--with more evidence on his part than egalitarians ever show conservatives or libertarians today--their false witness, slander, and viciousness seems especially ignominious!

Maybe it is past time for Rachel Madcow (and ladies like her) to return to their covering of "women's news". At least if she talks about clothing, cooking, childcare, sewing, and other matters of interest to women, she-and women like her--will spare the rest of us her wretched politics!!

Yep. She would be perfect for the "View."

it's obvious these moderators/commentators--

do not listen, at all.

She is so smug (I don't have a television) that it is hard not to feel annoyed.

Who IS this person? Who are ALL these people who are so smug and won't listen and twist the words of those they interview?

These youtubes of MSM are making me understand why America is in so much trouble.

"The Mainstream of American Politics..."

I couldn't help but think about Rachel's closing remarks and wonder what good the "mainstream of American politics" has done for us. Are we not in the midst of one of the greatest economic downturns in American history? Is the United States not in debt to the tune of $12-plus trillion and counting? Are we not stuck in two unconstitutional wars?

Perhaps it's time for people like Rachel Maddow to admit that the "mainstream of American politics" isn't all that they make it out to be.

"Free government is founded in jealousy, and not in confidence; it is jealousy and not confidence which prescribes limited constitutions." Thomas Jefferson, Kentucky Resolutions of 1798

I just told my MSM-obsessed

I just told my MSM-obsessed Democrat grandmother the same thing and she had to admit I was right.

They really feel threatened

They really feel threatened by him don't they? I'm not sure if I feel good about them being scared of someone who will not be another WashDC rubber stamp politician or bad since they can't seem to understand the basic concepts of freedom and liberty.

I got censored after I wrote;

"Give it a break Rachel. Twang that fork and hold it against your tooshie. Make something happen. You ain't intellectually capable of grasping what Dr. Paul is saying because you aren't an American... not really. You're a neo-lib. You Rachel just like Herr Barachhio, the NWO puppet, are anti-liberty at heart. If you can't dominate it and control it, it's bad."

Stupid Shemale...

I wouldn't give her any attention. Sensationalism created from nothing....

"The Civil Rights Act of 1964? Why do we have to reopen that debate because of something one guy didn’t say on a program no one watched?"

Isn't that one of the funniest, true comments ever?!

E. Oregon~ Re: Arrested Development

* thanks! great article..you should make it a seperate topic post!!*

"It has been forty-six years since the Civil Rights Act was passed and now we have to spend all summer listening to a bunch of liberal racists-in-remission scold the rest of us who never had their disease.

The economy still sucks, the market is taking a dump, unemployment is going up, Europe is imploding, we are stuck in two wars without identifiable victory strategies, and we are going to take the summer off to play dress-up with civil-rights-Barbie?

I have a theory for why the left is obsessed with the conflicts of their childhood – particularly race. I blame Dr. Spock.
