Tough break in Iowa
Our Ron Paul candidate lost in the 1st district. The establishment neo-con got 53% to our 23%. In a move that shows you can never underestimate the stupidity of the electorate, 25% of people voted for candidates who dropped out including 13% for one who endorsed us. If they had gotten out in time to remove their names from the ballot, you're looking at Establishment 53% - Freedom/tea party 47%.
We didn't really have a dog in the fight for governor, but most of us voted Vander Plaats, and he got hammered to. Oh well, time to unite behind the party nominees. Of the Libertarian Party that is.
Tragic about Prop 14 passing in CA, everybody needs to be on the watch that they don't try to bring that to your state. If it even comes up, find a sympathetic state legislator, and kill it before it gets to the floor.
Glad to see there were some bright spots like John Dennis winning and Sue Lowden losing.
"Elections are short term events, revolutions are long term projects." - Dr. Ron Paul
Neocon establishment: Pelosi or Dennis?
If you are Cheney-aligned Neocon GOP type, who do they sandbag and who do they support?
Does Pelosi debate Dennis? Probably not. Why would she?
Does Pelosi have infinite cash? I would think so.
San Fran must be one of the most liberal districts ever. If voters were to take a genuine look at the issues, they should certainly barf on Pelosi's pro-ware/pro-corporatist DNA. But would progressive voters ever want to give up the most powerful seat even if there is an evil ghoul sitting in it?
I wish/hope the differences between these two could be some sort of national examination for some kind of honest education of the people.
(all genuine questions, no sarcasm or snarkiness for me)

Fine. I'm expecting some great video
footage comparing the two candidates even if she doesn't debate; there are lots of impassioned, creative supporters who can do that.
And I even suspect there will be some SF media coverage by editors who are repulsed by her immorality. And lots of grassroots volunteers. This will be an amazing campaign to watch.
good morning bump

You know we are BETTER than a political party.
We are a FORCE looking for good people with real integrity. We have no leaders but we have GOOD TASTE. LOL Ron Paul is our standard of consistent excellence following the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The forces of good have got the forces of evil on the run!

is there a list of liberty winners?
Sorry, I do not recall all the liberty candidates. I am shuffling through this post and trying to match the washington post results?
winners; clift, dennis, vasovski, angle, whose Sharron?
John Dennis wins by 10%
Walsh 45%
Dennis 55%
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
Dennis against Pelosi
Dennis should be able to hit Pelosi hard with his "no policeman of the world" theme. Where are the Dem anti-war people? How is Pelosi going to answer that? I am sure many Dems in San Fran are against the wars. This race will be interesting! Great job DENNIS!!
Karen Angle wants to END THE Dept of ENERGY!!!
And the EPA.
And many other government agencies.
THEN we can abolish the IRS.
I hope she kicks Reid to the corner in Novermber.
The Tea Party and the Liberty movement is starting to make a difference.
Tho I don't really classify myself as a Tea Party member as defined these days, I do consider myself a Ron Paul Tea Party supporter.
Nevertheless the Tea Party IS doing a lot of good.
It's alomst as if a defacto 3rd party has arisen!
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul
Karen rhymes with SHARRON
just sayin'...
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
Agree - Instead of creating a thrid party
the TP has started to infiltrate both the D's and R's.
Also the T's have the "big mo". Mo breeds Mo, so the mo "Mo" you got, the "mo better" it is!
I remember RP saying about two months ago -"something big" is happening!
I love it when the people stand up!
There sure is a lot of "mo"
There sure is a lot of "mo" around here! LOL!!
Mo "mo" is good!
The "mo" the better!
This is a beautiful,
This is a beautiful, beautiful night!

All in all, not a bad night for liberty.

Just called the Lowden campaign
702-302-4097
I left her a message stating that she shouldn't have messed with the RP campaign in 2008 via her hand in closing the GOP convention after it was obvious the good doctor had won the voting populace's affection and that now she is paying the political price for her actions. I wished her well on her search for a real job.
Good for you! I hope she
Good for you! I hope she knows we will not forget. HAHAHA. Too bad Blanche Lincoln won in AR, but some say it will be easier for a republican to win if going against her so we shall see. Lincoln is a horrid senator.
Excellent. Angle has a real chance at sending...
Reid packing and Lowdown has learned a valuable lesson to not try and "steal" from the voters. Especially Ron Paul supporters....

People like Lowdown never learn.
They just try harder to not get caught again.
She will try to find some way to slither into another position somewhere with some politically-funded foundation or other partisan hack-job, just like most career politicians try to do.
People like her are not rehabilitate-able. They are career criminals.
According to this, Angle has won in NV!!!

hard to believe that so few
hard to believe that so few people participate. we should have 90% turnout.
Oh how I wonder, oh how I worry
And I would dearly like to know
How all this squander of earthly plunder
will leave us anything to show
Only 3% of the colonists got tired enough
of British soldiers invading their homes to start the Revolutionary War. Same here, not much has changed in more than 200 years ?
Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow
90% turnout
Everyone on the DP should be going to their republican voting days.
