Paul and Woods are Featured Guests at the Iowa GOP Dinner on Eve of state party convention!
Submitted by northstar on Mon, 06/14/2010 - 00:55DES MOINES - The Republican Party of Iowa announced today that on the eve of the Party's state convention, it will host a celebration of the United States Constitution on Friday, June 25 in Des Moines. Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) and New York Times bestselling author Tom Woods are featured guests.
Congressman Paul is widely respected among his colleagues as being an advocate for liberty, never voting for legislation unless it is authorized by the Constitution. Paul, a doctor who has delivered thousands of babies, continues to work for a dramatic reduction in the size of the federal government and a return to constitutional principles. He also competed in Iowa's presidential caucuses in 2008.
Tom Woods has authored nine books, including two New York Times bestsellers. His latest book, to be released later this month, is titled Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century. Pre-release copies will be available for purchase at the event.

Last election, Paul lost it in Iowa.
His team did a poor job of getting Dr. Paul any quality time in the Iowa caucuses. He got buried in the bottom of the GOP field from this. Even with passionate supporters helping Dr. Paul recover, the poor showing in Iowa allowed all the TV talking heads to discount him with every breath. Remember old Huckabee vaulting out front? You cannot shortchange Iowa! This sets the tone. The Ron Paul team hopefully learned from this, and will be all over Iowa. This is a great start.

Ron spend little time in Iowa
he did not campaign enough in IA instead stayed in Washington in Congress and got 5th place 11%...Fred Thompson had his own campaign bus and went from town to town on it and got 3rd place...enough said.

STAND WITH RAND 2016
He Had Two Big Problems
1. People voted before they heard him speak.
2. His wife went into the hospital the night before, and he missed one speech and the other made him look very fierce (I still see it in his face on the popular YouTube of the event).
This event is a good sign. The GOP want his magic to rub off on them.
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/
maybe..someday

He wasn't "allowed" at the convention

Iowa caucuses
he can't carry Iowa as long as he opposes the ethanol from corn subsidy. He will never favor it!
No one should ever forget how shabally Beck treated Dr. Paul during the Presidential campaign or the conscienceless shillin he did for his fellow Mormon, Romney. As for Murdock, he was relentless in having Hannity O'Reilly constantly savage Dr. Paul so th
