Demoralization
Destablization
Crisis
"Normalization"
Applying this template, I'd say that the Demoralization stage took off in the 1960's. The Destablization stage started in the 80's. The Crisis stage started in the 21st century (9/11). And the "Normalization" stage will come in about a decade.
During the Normalization stage, lots of people will be murdered...especially those that helped put it in place (as they are most dangerous to the powers that be): academians, media, etc.
This template seems to fit what happened in Russia, Germany, and in the Middle East.
Anyway, understanding the bigger picture is very important to our freedom. I'm not saying this is the big picture, but I believe we should examine as many big picture theories as possible.

This man was speaking just a few years prior to the fall and disintegration of the USSR. Strange that he could not see that everything he was describing was most to be found in the Soviet Union, which itself became demoralized and collapsed.
All this man was doing was articulating a theory which he perceived as a process. At most he was just articulating the way societies change over time.
If you look for outside subversion to explain Americas situation you will entirely miss the point. America is rotting from within.

I watched some of these vids
I watched some of these vids maybe two years or so ago. I remember that KGB agent explaining how their jobs were to infiltrate societies within nations and over a long period of time gradually get their ideas promoted. It would be an effort of many people. They would befriend those in high / influential positions, in government, celebrities, the rich, etc. They were bankrolled with whatever money resources they needed.
So, after (or while) spending years (sometimes decades) befriending the most influential people within a nation's society, they would work to make their ideas accepted.
One of the things this KGB agent said was to take a look at some list in the communist manifesto. I forget what the name of this particular list is. Anyhow, when you scroll through that list you see that pretty much all the components have been put into action in the U.S. over the past decades.
Centralized education was one of those list items. It was explained to be there because by centralizing education those within the power structure can use that education system to efficiently indoctrinate the youth, having an incredible level of impact within a relatively short period of time.
Anyhow, the videos of this KGB agent and what he explains were quite interesting.

I'm guessing you have. There is NO CONSPIRACY. It is human nature, plain an simple.
Do you honestly believe that millions of people throughout the centuries or even recent decades, have kept a closed "society" where people join all the time, that keeps everything "tip top" secret?? Do you think that's actually possible?
No leaks, pretty much, whatsoever. I was a "conspiracy theorist" for years until I went outside my present thinking, and realized that "people" have been doing this since the beginning of humans.
Just so you know, I agree with his comments, but I still have to be convinced that it is a "conspiracy". Maybe it is the way "empires" "naturally" work. The "natural course of human events". Was Rome's eventual turn to dictatorship a "conspiracy" or was it social dynamics on a larger scale?
I "hate" how the "vast majority", it seems, of Dpers think "outside the box" but never seem to seek the "truth", only their own preconceived notions.

The men that run the show all have like minded ideas, more for them and less for everybody else. The good new is it didn't take the majority of the people to win the Revolutionary War, just a hand full of "radicals" who wanted big government out of their lives.
So how do you tell if someone is brainwashed ?
And how long does it last - Given the soviet union, and Nazi Germany both collapsed.
And what is the point of it anyway, since the soviets certainly didn't get wealthy compared to american industrialists.
