Check out the G4tv guys conclusions at the end of this video. The best things we can do include actually visiting ("they need our tourism dollars more than ever." true.) and at the very least, keep talking about this to everyone. Don't let the msm sweet this under the rug ("everyone is lying to you").

This guy usually reports on video games...he did an excellent job and outdid the msm by a landslide. Highly recomended watching!

well, as a person who is far from the gulf, but has old connections to the gulf (*weeping*)--

I mean, the memories; it's a beautiful place, a 'treasure'--a national treasure (no pun intended)--

I have two 'problems':

1--everyone argues about what is REALLY happening; how CAN *we* know what is really happening?

and . . .

2--what can *I* do about it???

You know--

frustrating not to know what to do--

I'm a doer; I'm a person who wants to solve things--

and this is astronomically over-the-top--

I blame the Federal Government for passing a law in 1990 limiting the liability of any one oil company to 75 million dollars.

Voted for by the likes of John McCain.

Let's see...BP made 6 BILLION in 1st quarter this year so 75 MILLION is 1.25% of one quarter's profit!!!

How DARE the government limit the liability of ANYONE?

That is Crony Capitolism or Corporatism and shame on any congress-member who let the lobbyists for the oil companies allow such a bill to even be introduced.

BP delibertly avoided using a safer method (due to cost) when they tapped into that oil field 20,000 feet below the surface of the water.

Facilitated by irresponsible government law.

That's what a corporation is - the privilege to do business in a limited liability capacity.

Regulations are written to re-assign some of that liability on certain people in the corporation. But the full liability situation is never restored.

We've hammered this out elsewhere on many corporation threads.

This just exposes why the entire idea of a corporation is a bad one.
