RON WILL BE AT THE FREEport TEA PARTY!

We are alerting national media and want to have a huge crowd celebrating The R3volution, the moneybomb and, most of all, honoring our hero and standard-bearer.

The Ron Paul Revolution started when he was voted into Congress by District 14, Texas just ten years ago. The volunteers that are staging his district Tea Party this December 16th have been working to keep him elected to congress and are proud to be a part of the huge online Tea Party that will insure his election as President in 2008.
We ask that supporters from Texas, and the nation, come down for this historic event. You will have an opportunity to throw barrels of intrusive government over the side of a boat signifying our support of Dr. Paul's message.

Side Note
Just as an interesting side note, it was reported in this mornings Houston Chronicle that RP has contracted with Blue Star Jets for private jet travel between his engagements. This allows him to fly directly into the Brazoria County Airport, rather than into Bush International north of downtown Houston.

I'LL BE BUMMED!! If Ron Paul is there! My husband said," We're going to drive 16 hrs and he's going to be in NH or something." So he's laying in bed watching some gold prospecting show. He's such a nerd!

I can tell you for a fact that he won't be in Boston. The main reason for this was because he is scheduled to be in Iowa, which is what makes me skeptical of this event. Confirmation?

As of about 4PM this afternoon there was no confirmation. It truly is speculation. Ronnie is going to be here. Just guessing, it could be decided by the weather.
I'm Going!
I live in Houston and will be donating my $100 first thing in the morning, then hitting the road to attend the Freeport tea party. It is my understanding that the event is free. A friend sent me the information and said nothing about paying lots of money. I think the goal is to get as many people there as possible. I also hear that Freeport is in Dr. Paul's congressional district and very close to his home, so it makes sense that he will be attending. Anyway, I'm looking forward to going and possibly meeting him! Looking forward to meeting other RP supporters as well!

This is going to be a great event. Great ceremony for openers, Ronnie Paul, Dr. Paul's son, as Master of Ceremonies, so I've heard, a fun auction, a rafle of a rifle, tea and cookies for snacks, boats in the harbor and little boats to get to the boats, throw over barrels of government "tea and pork" into the water, auction off the right to throw a barrel over. I want to throw the IRS into the water. Maybe I'll swing for the Federal Reserve also!!! There will be Ron Paul videos piped in. Welcome to Ron Paul's country.

I think Dr. Ron Paul is suppose to be in Boston, unless he has changed his plans and is coming home. It is my understanding that Ronnie Paul, his son, will be Master of Ceremonies.

I agree and if I was RP this is where I would be - Boston, that is. But there is some rather solid "inside" information that he may indeed be back down home with the friends and neighbors who started him down this road so many years ago and who have supported him for so long on this road.
We'll all just have wait and see, but I'd bet on Boston.

Western Seafood is a large two story blue steel building located on the Old Brazos River. It is in old downtown Freeport. You can take 288 down to Brazosport HS, left on W 2nd St and continue to the bank building that now houses City Hall between Oak St. and Cherry St. Make a left on either of these streets and drive over the levee to the old river. You will see the big blue building at the river's edge.
You can also take SH332 to FM523 making a right turn onto FM523 and taking CR1495 where it splits from FM523 at Gulf Chemical and Metallurgical. As you pass over the bridge across the old river you can view Western Seafood’s building and docks by looking to the right. Immediately exit to the right after crossing the river. Take E. Broad to the old town square and continue to Cherry Street, make a right on Cherry Street and continue until you arrive at Western Seafood.
