Ron Paul - Perfect for CB Radios & Ham too

I don't own a truck, don't own a CB, never talked on one.
But I know they are used a lot by truck (and other) drivers all around the country. cspanjunkie mentioned it in his post on the GrannyWarrior blog and it's a really great idea. Get on the CB and start informing everybody within range about Ron Paul and his message of freedom. As cspj said, most everybody was very appreciative of the info and was happy to hear about it.
Texans - this is a great way for y'all to spread the word about the Trans-Texas corridor (aka the NAFDA superhighway) and to let them know what the Bad Guys are up to. They won't hear it on regular radio - that's for sure.
Ham radio is also another great communication too. Millions of Ham operators out there (maybe inspired by Art Bell?) who chat to people around the country and the world. Put a CQ out there and start talking about freedom. This is a huge opportunity to spread the word.

Truckers love Paul already
As I drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, I saw several 18-wheelers with Ron Paul stickers on the back. I also saw that giant Ron Paul sign in the desert. That was an awesome day seeing all that Ron Paul love.

You can broadcast VoteforRonPaul on your wireless router and get all in range to see your signal call. You can keep your security turned on but still show your support. Just change your SSID to VoteforRonPaul
I already do it and so do a lot of friends. I over heard a comment at the local market about seeing it. I just chuckled and walked away.

Not so simple
Ask any ham about this and they'll likely tell you that campaigning on the bands is a big no-no. It's one thing to discuss politics, but even that is discouraged. Most hams just talk about radio or your typical rag-chew topics. Anything bound to offend anyone (which campaigning invariably does) is something that you reserve for private conversation. That said, if you're very passive about it, I am sure you could make some progress tuning people into RP.
Also keep in mind that there is a certain level of attachment to the FCC in the amateur service. I'd say a good number of hams often don't agree with the FCC on every decision, but it's the FCC that keeps order in the spectrum.
Despite that, as a ham, I still support the reduction of the scope of FCC, specifically regarding the "moral regulation" of the airwaves (excessive fines for broadcasters, etc). I see them merely as a referee and defender of the common resource we know as the radio spectrum. It's the vary nature of the spectrum that requires the FCC's existence. If you want a constitutional argument, radio waves travel over state lines. This is definitely a form of interstate commerce.
The upshot is that we hams have a very long history of regulating ourselves. We've done a very good job of it; so we do believe in spontaneous order, which is a core libertarian ideal.

That if another Another Republican besides Ron Paul gets elected, the C-Band will probably be sold to Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. in an inside deal!

I think truckers would especially like Ron Paul's message--considering the Bush move to open the US to Mexican truckers, which has potential to lower the wages of US workers.
I'm sure they dislike paying "income" taxes as well. ;)
