Rand Paul "Liberty is Too Big to Fail" NYC Rally - July 12

Coming up Monday from our friends in NYC:

Rand Paul "LIBERTY IS TOO BIG TO FAIL" NYC Rally

http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Rand Paul is returning to NYC's world famous Webster Hall, where it all began last August when he officially announced his bid for U.S. Senate. On the heels of Rand's primary victory, the time is ripe to send the message that LIBERTY IS TOO BIG TO FAIL! Rand needs to raise funds aggressively for the general Election. We've already seen how much of a threat RP is to the establishment by the slanderous attacks and accusations of racism made against him in the media... and this is just the beginning. Our movement has experienced a REAL Victory after numerous setbacks, and I for one like the feeling of being a winner, and this race is ours to lose. We know what it takes to win... it takes the same spirit that raised a record 6.6 million dollars at the very first TEA PARTY in America since 1773...it takes the Grassroots Movement to show our power to the establishment. Politicians won't turn things around, we will.

Please Join Us for another great re-union of Liberty Lovers in NYC and the Greater Tri-State area.

Seeing the word "Liberty"

.

He is for Liberty

Rand Paul is a real firebrand who speaks his mind. Until such time that he betrays the people, which I doubt at this point, he remains firmly on America's side.

Posturing is a game where you have to say things that you don't fully support....such as attacking Iran. Well if you have to do it, you need to bomb their nuke facility. But he isn't saying bomb the country, nor is he saying war.

I judge politicians by their voting record

Having been heavily involved with both issue and electoral campaigns for the last few years I am careful to judge people working to win an election. Currently, politics is very dirty and these people have to walk very thin lines. It is so easy to rail on people from the comfort of a taskchair, but mosy of us who fight in the trenches have learned to temper their "feelings".

I think many people were spoiled by Ron Paul's '08 POTUS run. They saw a man saying things on TV that shocked them with the realization that there are politicians fighting for liberty. What many neglect to consider is that RP had NO illusions of winning and came out swinging, saying things he might never have said had he got into it with a hope of winning.

A double edged sword...

Finally, I recently formed an analogy that might explain why I will support Rand until a voting record shows he is not worthy of my support:

I look at the struggle as a soccer game with total Liberty the goal on one side and total tyranny as the goal on the other side. I see the people (of all labels) who work to move the ball towards liberty as "on my team"...

When I realized that no matter how much I moved towards the goal, it remained the same distance away, I realized the infinite aspect. At that point I stopped philosophizing and started solely concentrating on moving the ball down the field.

The question I continually ask is, "How do I get there from here?"

At this point I see Rand moving the ball towards Liberty. Time will tell

mkauai,

you speak volumes. I agree. See you at Webster Hall with all the other Patriots who are moving the cause of liberty forward.

So you are saying

that Jack Conway, the Democrat, will represent the country and the constitution better than Rand Paul. Is that what you are saying. Keep on thinking that way and we will never change this country.

We need constitutional conservatives in the Senate.

The Video is awesome!

Rand could run that as TV ad.

Rand Paul

and Ron Paul needs the support now. This is the time to unite all groups that respect the constitution and pull in the independents to crush the two party system and reboot the Republican party into the Party it was meant to be, not the neo-con and big spending version that it has become.

It won't come from Washington, it will come from the people but will only work if we have the numbers.
