Submitted by yesliberty on Fri, 07/09/2010 - 21:16“I am proud to endorse Clint Didier for United States Senate.
“The American people need more than just another vote. We need a man of principle who will always stand up for what is right. We need a citizen politician who will represent US. Clint Didier is just that kind of individual.”

Didier vs. Rossi
If you would like to see some videos of Clint Didier vs. Dino Rossi - here's the link for the one on the Federal Reserve. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRzubhbrZQg&feature=related On this same Washington Campaign for Liberty Channel there are a number of other issues videos showing the differences between those two candidates.
So proud of Clint Didier
This is a huge endorsement up here in WA state, as Dr. Paul was so well received in the '08 race. Especially since the war and the economy have played against both the Progs and Neo-cons.
Now we've got an even greater reason to rally our support for such a fine candidate.
For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it. - Patrick Henry
Great news! THIS is truly the year for citizen politicians!!
And Clint Didier will bring his level-headed, common sense leadership style to the US Senate.
Amazing feat for him to secure endorsements from both Ron Paul AND Palin. . .
(well, like Rand P. Nothing wrong to be admired by both, and all other, camps. ;-)

Since I live in Washington State...
He's got my money AND my vote.

What about Peter Schiff???
Why does Ron keep endorsing all these candidates, but has not said a word about Schiff the entire time?

He normally does not endorse in a primary
The Didier endorsement is only the second time Ron Paul has given an endorsement in a primary contest (the first was for Rand).
I don't know why he hasn't endorsed Peter Schiff. I believe it isn't just the Doctor's endorsement, but the Liberty PAC that endorses candidates . . . which doesn't shed any light on your question.
Michael, can you provide any clues?
Hm, you present an
Hm, you present an interesting point about primaries. I never took that into consideration. Of course it makes sense he would endorse Rand in a primary, it is his son afterall. I guess I am just curious as to why he would endorse Clint Didier in a primary instead of Peter Schiff, who is one of the biggest names within the Austrian School of Economics in the present day.
And yes, Michael, we would appreciate it if you could provide any clues you may know. Thanks!

From what I understand from
From what I understand from our county's State committee woman, Clint went back to Dc to meet with Ron. I just listened to Didier on our local Tea Party candidate forum and he is awesome! He will only serve 2 terms (if he wins) and then go back to his farm to finish out his life. He's quite the motivator! We actually have another good candidate running against him from our county that is equally good philosophically (so nice to have that problem ) but Didier has the fire!
I like Didier
Daryl Grant, Tommie Kramer and Allen Rice used to come by our locker room and give us pep talks before big games.I've never seen so much jewelry in my life...LOL!! Those rings looked like truck tires.
Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow
Why hasn't Dr. Paul endorsed
Why hasn't Dr. Paul endorsed Peter Schiff? Or has he? I have not seen an official endorsement.
Because Schiff hasn't asked
And therefore Ron Paul does now know whether Schiff thinks his endorsement is a good strategy from Peter's point of view.
Didier went to visit Ron Paul two weeks ago. I'm pretty sure they coordinated them. If Schiff thinks the endorsement is a good idea, he should give Ron Paul a phone call.
Schiff does want Ron
Schiff does want Ron endorsement, he said so in one of the prior Wallstreet Unspun Radio of his. Beside, Ron Paul should already know the damage Dodd had done to the American economy and and his could-be successor-Blumenthal. The neocon are supporting McMahon. I just think that Schiff will not be a realistic candidate with his plan to convince the other 49 senators. That is not a realistic plan. There will always be compromise and I think that Schiff is a dreamer if he was elected. That's what I think Ron Paul has been hesitating to endorse him.
He would at least make them
He would at least make them look even more inept and corrupt by pointing out all the damage they are doing. He will convince more people than politicians and, in the end, that's more important.
Did Rand ask Bunning for an
Did Rand ask Bunning for an endorsement? Did Rand ask Palin for an endorsement? I don't think so.
I'm sure Schiff would welcome the endorsement from Dr. Paul, but if getting an endorsement requires asking for one, I don't think Schiff knows that because on his radio show weeks ago, it sounded like he didn't know why he hasn't received an endorsement from Dr. Paul.
Rand met with Bunning before the endorsement
Rand also requested Palin's help.
But not all politicians are the same. Some endorse unannounced. But others, like DeMint, only endorse after the candidate asks.
But Ron likes Schiff. He promoted one of the first Schiff money bombs, so I'm sure he'll endorse if Schiff makes the phone call and he knows it will not harm Peter's strategy.
Oops . . . Jim DeMint
Jim DeMint effectively endorsed the establishment candidate (Rossi) in this race before he was even in the race!

This makes sense. It should be the
candidate's call as well as Dr. Paul's. Republican primaries are difficult, touchy struggles and there is no one-size-fits-all way to win them.
Yes!
And so do I!
yes
and he was interviewed the other day by Mike Church. It was a great interview. I will try to find it and post it

thanks for the link you were quicker than I. that was a really good interview
Clint Didier?
The Redskins Tight End?
Yup
Flipping through the channels like 2-3 days ago and Clint Dieder was on the radio. On the Rush Limbaugh radio show as a caller. He was talking bout some things out where he lives. He just called himself Clint, but then he mentioned he played 9 years in the NFL and Limbaugh asked his last name and it snowballed from there. It gave Clint instant credibility with the Limbaugh listeners. But really I thought he talked very open and like a normal guy. Not some politician. So it was good to hear and good to see Ron has endorsed him.
As for Peter Schiff, I dont know exactly why he hasnt been "endorsed".
Here's the link of Rush Limbaugh's show. . .
. . . which is stirring up quite an excitement. A nice change of tone and rhythm from our usual geekish Ron Paul crowd. It's great to have the Redskins branch among Liberty advocates, I would say ;-)

Clint IS a normal guy
See the video clips at Washington State Campaign for Liberty http://wacfl.com/ to see why once they hear him, especially compared to hearing Dino Rossi, the people rise and cheer.
Yup
He plays exclusively now for the Washington Patriots!
