Jeb Bush to appear at Rand Paul fundraiser in Ky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Tea party favorite Rand Paul is getting help from a well-known Republican later this month, when Jeb Bush will attend a fundraiser for the Kentucky Senate candidate.
Paul's campaign said Friday that the former Florida governor will attend the fundraiser July 26 at a private home in the Louisville area. Paul campaign manager Jesse Benton said tickets will start at $1,000 per person.
Bush served two terms as Florida's governor, and he is the son and brother of former Republican presidents.
Paul portrayed himself as a political outsider in winning the Republican Senate nomination in May, beating establishment favorite Trey Grayson. Since then, Paul has mingled with Republican insiders at a recent Washington fundraiser, while still criticizing the government-backed bailouts some of them supported.

You guys scare me, with the exception of a couple people that have posted on this thread. I been reading this site for a while and it seems as time goes on there are more and more people getting ready to drink the koolaid.
What was once thoughtful discourse has turned into conspiracy theories about conspiracies. Where there was once pause for doubt it is now whitewashed over with some new evil angle to enslave mankind.
Things have started to get so outlandish I been seriously considering removing this site from my daily browsing list (not just because of the comments here). I know it is easy to just say I am 'one of them' but remember it is normally your friend that tells you the truth you don't want to hear.
Please just do some fact checking and research before posting the next elitest plot to end the world, and for the love of all things holy the absence of evidence is not evidence.
By the way, this fundraiser was planned long before Jeb said he
would show up.
Labor is bussing protesters in pretending Rand is against ADA
This is based on a hit video made by someone trying to get Rand to say he was against it, but Rand said he thought disabled people should be accomodated but he prefered local solutions.
Labor is trying to make it look like there is a popular response against this position Rand never, ever took, but they are having to staff it with unions and are trying to get the Kentucky Young Democrats as well. Not exactly rank and file populist protest.

Not "voter's," it's voters.
With rare exception you don't use an apostrophe if it's merely plural, only when it's a contraction such as IT IS = IT'S or possessive such as "the voter's rights." If it were both plural and possessive, the apostrophe would go at the end (the voters' rights). BTW, the possessive of IT has no apostrophe since it would otherwise be confused with the common contraction for IT IS. Example: It's clear that the dog lost its leash.

They are only trying to help in a nice way therefore it can be a good thing.
One would be busy just following me around, LOL.
We all need to try to write better because poor grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation distract from the points we try to make.

That ain't always true
You may have learned valuable lessons from persons with poor grammar or a lack of proper speaking/writing skills. However, the majority of "educated" persons will summarily dismiss texts with such errors because if it appears that the writer's proofeading skills are amiss it reflects poorly on their overall intellect. If they make minor mistakes such as with spelling or contractions, how is one to believe that their entire philosophy has not been so carelessly assembled?
Everyone makes mistakes and certainly I'm no exception. However, I make a conscious effort to avoid and to correct them because I want to learn and to set a positive example for others. Contractions are basic English. If someone born in this country writes, "Your wrong about that," I just think of how lazy and unattentive he must have been back in elementary school classes. It doesn't inspire confidence in that person.

When you are trying to win an election
you never turn down a vote or anyone who can help you get more votes. Rand has to win first and get in the senate before he can do anything. And of course it's always possible the more people he can get into his tent, the more he can convert.
What if Jeb could bring in 10,000 votes and Rand lost by 9,000. The purist on this thread would have a lot of crow to eat.
