Rasmussen: US Senate Race Ron Paul Endorsed Clint Didier 48% Incumbent Murray 45%

Washington's Senate race looks increasingly like a referendum on incumbent Democrat Patty Murray with two Republican candidates edging past her this month.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Washington State finds Republican hopefuls Dino Rossi and Clint Didier both earning 48% support in match-ups with Murray. She, in turn, picks up 45% of the vote against the two GOP challengers. Less than 10% of voters in both cases prefer some other candidate in the race or are undecided.

In June, Murray and Rossi were tied as they have been in virtually every survey this year. Since the beginning of the year, Murray has earned 46% to 48% of the vote, while Rossi's support has ranged from 46% to 49%.

Incumbents that fall short of 50% at this stage of a campaign are considered potentially vulnerable, but worrisome for Murray is that this is her poorest showing of the year. She was reelected to a third term in 2004 with 55% of the vote.

Curiously, the link in the post above leads to results for a poll conducted July 28 that has Murray leading both Rossi and Didier:

If Clint Didier is her GOP opponent, Murray picks up 48% of the vote while the challenger gets 45%.

Murray earns support from 49% of Likely Voters in Washington in a matchup with Dino Rossi, who picks up 47% support.

IOW, don't start celebrating just yet.

My understanding is the "money blast" is a short term date marketed smaller amount for the goal of funds and "money bomb" is with subscribers more long term date set and larger goal of funds raised...seems the same to me but hey I am used to "money Bomb" term...

Washington is the ideal state to start the beach head of turning blue states liberty red.

I talked to one of his campaign officials yesterday. He said they can't keep campaign material on hand.

But there is some speculation that the democrats are undermining the campaign.

They are worried that Didier CAN beat Murray in November but Rossi can not. So they are supporting Rossi's campaign and trying to hurt Didier.

But Ron Paul has endorsed Didier - and he needs our help in these primaries.

Didier and Rand are the real deal and we need more of them to infiltrate on the Independents/Democrat side as well.

We need REAL conservatives who will obey the electorate in phasing out the Federal Reserve, put them on camera with their oath. Have them do their oath publicly.

That tells us right away. Then we can prosecute and handle the real traitors in both parties.....

This isn't over, but A Dino Rossi-Clint Didier matchup in the general election won't be a fair contest at all. Dino Rossi has been hiding from any event where Clint might be.

Ron endorses yet another candidate who feels the state should decide who should be able to enter into a (marriage) contract.

And he is pro life from conception to the natural end of life. So, he's just like every other candidate who wants to make government smaller, yet big enough to inspect who is having or not having periods and who may want to end his or her own life if in intractable pain.

So, he's like every other religionist/Republican on the planet. I wonder which rights he'll sell out if, say, the Second Amendment has to be bartered for a pro-life vote. No, I really don't wonder that at all. I know the answer. The magic man in the sky will give him the answer.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. There is no constituency for liberty in this country or in this world. And this list of suspects that Ron has endorsed only proves the point.

You can all go out and work for people like this. But they are just as much the problem as collectivists on the left.

Sarah Palin's endorsement did not precede such a bump in the prior poll.

I don't think that means it is worthless, I think it means what I have suspected -- our greatest influence is in different geographical areas from hers. Too bad none of our geographical areas come up early in the presidential primaries....
