AOL's "Politics Daily" lies about Rand Paul's Rasmussen poll results (7/21/10)

Rand Paul Holds 7-Point Lead in Kentucky Senate Race

GOP Senate nominee and Tea Party favorite Rand Paul is leading his Democratic opponent, state Attorney General Jack Conway, by 49 percent to 42 percent with 4 percent preferring some other candidate and 6 percent undecided, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll on the Kentucky race conducted July 20. The margin of error is 4 points.

That's about the same margin Paul had in the last Rasmussen poll conducted June 28. A Public Policy Polling survey conducted June 28-30 had Paul and Conway in a tie.

Uhhh.... 49 + 42 + 4 + 6 = 101...

The real numbers are Rand: 49 Conway: 41, Other: 4, and Undecided: 6.

Those were Rasmussen's numbers a month ago, not now. (Rand regained the point he lost earlier.)

Only this time, they only provide a link for the PPP poll taken back in June. No Rasmussen link. Hmmm....

Oh, and AOL's "Politics Daily" has ignored my email. I don't want to make an AOL account; does anyone already have one? Can somebody make a comment on their story with the REAL figures?
