Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin -- Defenders of freedom when it's convienent.
Submitted by Skip on Sun, 07/25/2010 - 13:40Newt Gingrich recently wrote an article on why the planned "Cordoba House" mosque should not be allowed to be developed near Ground Zero in NYC. I expected this from a big government type to only defend private property and freedom of speech where it is politically correct. And as much as I doubt Sarah Palin's intelligence, and abhor her stance of wars, I really thought when it came to domestic issues she would be someone who could defend freedom no matter how unpopular something is. I now know that is untrue and she can not be trusted. Here is a direct quote from Sarah Palin's comments on Gingrich's article. In agreement with Newt, Palin says:
"This is not an issue of religious tolerance but of common moral sense."
This is not someone who would defend private property and freedom of speech for the sake of private property and freedom of speech. In other words, these values are a means to another ends; not an end in and of themselves for Sarah Palin.

Palin
is a defender and proponent of Israel.
The only thing about the US that she's interested in, is how it can be manipulated for Israel's benefit.
She's a traitor.
Neither Palin nor Gingrich
Neither Palin nor Gingrich are defenders of freedom. They are defenders of the Neocon Republican Establishment. By their actions you should know this.
Gingrich defused the revolt withing the GOP ranks in 1994 with "term limits" and his "Contract with America". You can see where that got us!
Palin endorsed and campaigned for John McCain. Do you think John McCain is a defender of freedom? McCain stands for more undeclared wars, and further erosion of the Bill of Rights under the phony "War on Terrorism".
The real defenders of freedom like Ron Paul are ignored or lampooned by the GOP Establishment. But hopefully, that is changing.
throwing up my hands again--
and what IF *we* find out, someday, through who knows what means--
that 9/11 really was at least . . .
'allowed' to happen and wasn't . . .
Islamic in concept.
That, IF there were middleasterners of Islamic connection involved, they were thrown together for this purpose by a mind so devious that there was no religion of any kind involved at all--
except chaos and pure evil?
And if we find that out, these 'politicians' will look very foolish.
I hope that happens.
