I'm Absolutely Done with politics minus Ron Paul

I am ABSOLUTELY DONE WITH POLITICS and trying to convince people that freedom is the way to go. Neocons are completely brainwashed NAZI's nothing short of NAZIS

All I hear about is the 12th Imam, and the holocaust, and anti-semitism. These people live in FAIRYLAND. I'M ABSOLUTELY DONE!!!! I'm so angry. We are surrounded by NAZIS cheering at the idea "I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL WE ATTACK IRAN and YEAH NUKE RUSSIA"

How can I support Ron Paul and help his efforts when I can't take it anymore dealing with NAZIS (on the other team)? =[ =[ =[

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

Neocon Nazis can never be reasoned with......

If they adore Roosevelt, then they are neocon nazis brainwashed by the zionized media. They are globalists to the end. Regardless of their faith, adoring the tyrannical Franklin Roosevelt is a dead giveaway.

Well I'm done too, and sadly with Ron Paul.

I am so confused and resentful because what I supported, the 2008 campaign for Ron Paul has turned into something I don't like. This comment is not intended to piss anyone off. I'm just confused abut what's happening and I feel very upset. I'm not trying to piss anyone off, but maybe someone can explain to me what is happening. There's a focus on Rand now. And I don't like him. So this is how I'm feeling....

I campaigned for Dr. Paul. I bought all his books. I sent in donations. I rode around with a RON PAUL 2008 bumper sticker on my car. I told everyone about him, and I felt pride while doing so.

But his son is nuts, sorry. And I feel like I wasted my time supporting Dr. Paul when he and his son are of the same mind. I feel embarrassed that I backed him when he thinks his sons outrageous comments, especially about BP, "...boot heel on the throat of BP." is perfectly fine. Ron is so right on the money about, well, money, where our troops shouldn't be, and so many other things. THAT'S why I supported him. But so wrong when it comes to his son. And all Rand had to do was ride on his fathers coattails and then take what WE, the hard working, thoughtful campaigners made for Dr. Paul, not for Rand. What a bate and switch this is.

And the TEA party took all the ideas that WE had, the Ron Paul supporters. They stole all the great things we came up with and twisted it to meet their beliefs. It really bugs me how unoriginal they are. WE were talking Thomas Jefferson and Constitution etc. Fox news/Tea party NEVER ONCE talked about things like that during the Bush administration. Now they can't stop. Especially that should-be-on-meds-and-committed Glenn Beck. Thief! Nothing but Ron Paul supporters ideas on his show now.

And Dr. Paul, can't see what's happened??!! He doesn't acknowledge OUR hard work and now his son, with his insane comments, Ron doesn't thank us and give us the credit we deserve for Rand's new found success and (UGH) popularity? Was this the plan from the beginning? It's insanity what's happened.

What a let down. I can no longer support Dr. Paul and I will NEVER support Rand.

You're welcome Rand for taking what WE created for your father and stealing the spotlight for yourself.

If I had only known THIS would happen, I would have supported another candidate who I at least KNEW was a fraud, but was aware of that while campaigning and voting.

I am so very sad about this. I thought Dr. Paul was different. When will I ever learn...

This is long but, helped get me back on track.

Congressman Ron Paul

Dear Friend in Liberty,

Please take a look at the enclosed note from my son Rand. Many of you already support his campaign. Even if you haven't before, as a favor to me, please carefully read what he wrote below. I think sometimes we all get caught up in sound bites and pay too much attention to media reports, so I thought you should hear straight from Rand about his fight for Freedom.

In Liberty,

Ron Paul

Sometimes, the political process makes us all just a bit cynical and jaded — myself included. We look at what the Washington DC establishment — the career politicians, the corporate lobbyists, and the entrenched bureaucracy has brought us, and we throw up our hands, thinking, "they're all the same."

I don't like to yell too loud, or beat my chest. But I want to take a moment to remind you why I am not your typical politician, and why this is not a typical campaign or movement.

Among the many reasons:

I will never, ever vote for a taxpayer bailout of a private industry. Whether it's big banks, automakers, or any other industry — you succeed or fail on your own.
I will not vote for an unbalanced budget. I will not vote for a tax increase. Ever.
I will fight for new rules like a Balanced Budget Amendment and Term Limits.
I will not take ANYTHING off the table in the fight to balance the budget. Anyone who says something like they will "freeze non-defense discretionary spending" is blowing smoke at you and hoping you won't notice. That would balance the budget — MAYBE — in about 80 years.
We have to keep our promises to seniors and keep our country strong, but every area has things that can be cut. Every agency has things that are duplicative or that could be done better or cheaper.
I will propose and force a vote on an Enumerated Powers Act, to force Congress to point to the part of the Constitution that justifies their bills.
I will fight for the Bill of Rights. Democrats often love the 4th amendment. Republicans the 2nd. I will fight for them all, which means fighting for your free speech, gun rights, and civil liberties. Laws that infringe on ANY of these make the federal government more powerful, and we cannot continue to allow that.
I will not allow our troops to be the world's policeman, and I will force a vote on a Declaration of War if any President seeks to commit our military to battle.
What you've just read above is an agenda unlike any politician in the country. While solidly conservative, it also shows first, a great loyalty to the Constitution and to our freedom. You cannot fight for liberty while voting for bills that embolden the state. You cannot fight for some of our founding rights without others. And you cannot enable change in Washington by sending the same old people there.

For anyone who thinks elections don't matter, or all candidates are the same, I urge you to read this one more time. I don't think it's a stretch to say that few candidates running for office this year will so fully embrace this agenda of freedom and prosperity, of fighting the power of the federal government while working to ensure that the rights of Americans are restored.

"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is argument of tyrants. It is the creed of slaves." William Pitt in the House of Commons November 18, 1783
"I know major allies who fund them" Gen. Dempsey referring to ISIS

I was baffled by the

BP thing as well but Simple Sam explains it pretty good.
I think Rand and Ron maybe when they are speaking about this go into it a little more so people won't miss understand them. I still believe in them because I see how hard the powers that be are working against them.

"We can see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our touch, but we understand with our hearts."

I don't believe a word you typed.

Your timing, when compared to your posting history, stinks to high heaven.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

I'd Say, Neither Does Templeton

Nothing rings true about what he says in his post or how he say's it. It just doesn't sound like a person's true feelings or anyone that has ever supported Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is against BP

He's just saying BP should be allowed to openly compete in a free-market, NOT to allow BP to get away with crimes.

The liberal zionized media overgeneralizes everything and is the absolute worst. They put words in Ron's mouth which he never spoke.

Again, the libertarian position on BP is to allow BP to do its business WITHOUT Federal Government intervention - and at the same time allow their own employees & county prosecutors to bring the corporation down as well as throw Tony Hayward in prison where he belongs.

Obama is doing the opposite by giving BP unbelievable amounts of power, shaking them down for billions of dollars, and installing "bureaucrats" in charge of everything. What is even worse?

Obama is telling all oil companies they are as bad as BP, by putting out a public ban on oil drilling. Now all of those workers will LIKEWISE lose their jobs, and BP is still making lots of money in publicity!!!

He is very different and you have rushed to judgment..

Rand Paul and Ron Paul were not in anyway saying support British Petroleum.

Next time you should read their explanation first, and what libertarian conservatives say about BP.

In regards to BP, what they are stating is plain and simply the government has become their bodyguard and has effectively put their "foot to BP's throat" which makes the situation worse.

BP is still criminal and we believe in fact that the shareholders should file class suits and dissolve the corporation - then lay out criminal prosecutions.

But that's something average working folks should be doing, sitting on Grand Juries, with the backing of the constitution.

It is NOT something the government needs to place its hands into the middle of- by strangling BP they are acting like a mafia hitting up men for money. A lot of folks in BP are innocent, just as any corporation has the good and the bad.

Those folks could be leading the way to punish BP and dismantle criminal corporations like it, through a truly free market.

However with Obama's policy of moratoriums on oil drilling, he is effectively denying resolution to the BP mess. The Federal Government is becoming the ruthless dictator in the BP mess, effectively bankrupting all the people and ruining all their lives.

That's what Rand Paul, and the rest are speaking about when they state that BP should not be under the control of the Federal Government.

don't frustrate yourself by trying to convince people

just turn them on to info. Like you would a family member. That would be my advice. Print out from time to time an article that's linked here. "Hey have you seen this news story?" or "I saw an interesting video online yesterday, you should check it out". Give them a dvd. Also, it might be frustrating if one expects to convince people in just a few tries. It can take yeeeaars. A friend once said to me that frustrations and problems are just a matter of perception. That simple thought has helped me in dealing with things throughout my life.

we are the Remnant

That is what I did to

wake up my husband. I would print out a interesting story that I thought he would be interested in and next thing I knew he was doing his own research.

"We can see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our touch, but we understand with our hearts."

Take some time for your yourself & tune out every now and then..

.. but always remember if we don't keep reaching out to people things will never change. We need you!

I feel the same way from time to time and I just turn off the computer play favorite songs and hang with family and friends.

It's when I see my family and friends that I realize I must keep going. I must spread the message because all our lives and futures are depending on it.

Stay strong and bounce back stronger.

I feel you buddy. I feel you. This taking the GOP back is a tough racket. I think it really is going to come down to "RADICAL LOCALISM".

They chanted USA USA to....

They chanted USA USA to drown out the voices of any dissenters.

They were instructed to do so by the GOP leadership.

Im totaly with you

Lemmings the lot of them. Really republican , democrat does anyone still think there is really a difference in this political landscape. We are in fascism plain and simple. When a media format like TV promotes this type of life you get lemmings, zombies, sheeple non thinking I'll have TV do it for me attitude. It is what it is and when the shizzle hits the fizzle good luck to the players.

Somehow I think

we are running a marathon and when we have run so far we run out of steam and need to recharge.

You have worked very hard take care of yourself, the others will be deceived and eventually return to you for guidance welcome them back and forgive them when they do.

I resigned from the Repub party

over month ago. I just couldn't stomach how even the other Ron Paul people who I started out with in 2008 and lived through a hell of a time, even they have bought the kool aid. They glaze over at the thought of a Continental Congress and walking the talk in defence of our Constitution vis a vis 'candidates'. They are totally sucked into the 'false lust' of politics instead of statesmanship.

I watch them enthusiastically getting behind candidate after candidate that will never stand up for our Constitution in 'real' ways, just words without any passion whatsoever. None have pledged for nullification, yet they still get behind them.

The one running for governor who was endorsed is on video introducing Vin Weber, author and signatory to the PNAC (Project For New American Century). I had my name removed from endorsing him as a delegate when I found this out and tried to let others know with the link to the video. There goes that 'glazed over' look and the minimizing of what this implies. His running mate, lieutenant governor, a neo con, headed the Metro Council in Mpls. She clearly is in bed with UN agendas. Never mind, they all fell for it.

My energies are going into making Michael Badnarik's Constitution Class available to people who want to come each Saturday for 4 weeks.

secession + nullification

are superior tactics to a Continental Congress I would argue. I agree with your fatigue with advancing freedom "vis a vis 'candidates'". But I think Continental Congress isn't a good answer. Why? It still leaves the national government intact. Secession, on the other hand jettisons it!

I have had some success with this approach

I'll explain that for govt to do its thing takes lots of money and that for any meaningful policy debate to occur, one must understand the origins of this money -- so I ask "can you tell me how money is created?"

Rarely do they know. And once they realize they don't know, the entire dynamics of the situation changes. As they start to understand that the entire game is rigged, the awakening begins...
