In the last segment of the marathon, when Rand and Peter were both on, Peter was saying endorsements could give him more momentum. He then went on to say that an endorsement from Rand's father could help. Is Peter now asking for Ron Paul's endorsement?

MILFORD, CT - Steve Forbes, a staunch defender of the free-market and one-time Presidential candidate, today endorsed Peter Schiff's bid for U.S. Senate in Connecticut.

"I have known Peter Schiff for several years. He has a deep knowledge of finance and economics," said Steve Forbes. "He had long warned of the troubles we now face. As your citizen-Senator he will be a fierce fighter for cutting spending, cutting taxes and repealing Obamacare."

Mr. Forbes has only endorsed three other candidates for U.S. Senate running in the 2010 election cycle: John McCain, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul.

"Steve Forbes understands the massive strains the American economy is under, and to have his backing and trust means a great deal to me," said Peter Schiff. "We need to restore free-market principles, get government out of the way and put people back to work. Steve's understanding of my vision, coupled with his backing, will help me get to Washington to make sure we grow the economy, not the government."

Forbes endorses a strange spectrum of individuals: from awesome candidates such as Rand Paul (and now Peter Schiff) to mediocre ones such as Rubio to complete bottom of the barrel garbage--McCain!

Mr. Schiff

His Tea Party-style apocalypticism foresees the collapse of the dollar's value, hyperinflation, shortages of food and energy, an increase in crime and social unrest. Mr. Schiff's bleak predictions and unrealistic prescription are unlikely to attract many voters.

Is there a rift between Ron Paul and Peter Schiff? I haven't heard any support or even any endorsements from Ron Paul, at all. Maybe I just didn't hear about it. Anyone have any info?

Radio Ad idea...

What if instead of raising money and then buying ads to promote our candidates, if we ran ads to raise money to to promote our candidates.

Peter Schiff could have spent his initial money on ads saying, "I'm Peter Schiff donate to my campaign today..."

This very approach might have caused a buzz and more name id.
