USA says Israel can start war with Iran

91177info | July 25, 2010

Republicans in the House of Representatives have introduced a measure that would green-light an Israeli bombing campaign against Iran. The resolution, H.Res. 1553, provides explicit support for military strikes against Iran, stating that Congress supports Israel's use of "all means necessary" against Iran "including the use of military force". US military leaders have warned that strikes could be catastrophic to US national security interests and could engulf the Middle East in a "calamitous" regional war.

Nearly a third of House Republicans have signed onto the resolution, which has been publicly discussed and circulated by its lead sponsor, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), for months.

Great information in the post and in the comments.

Got to remember this too...

Michele Backmann's so-called tea party caucus also gave it's endorsement too. Please understand, I'm only saying that about her group. I believe her tea party caucus does not represent us as a whole and I find it rather insulting she is using the name and at the same time, abusing it for her and the neocons gain.

Would it be wise to start a petition to have them disbarred? How and who picked the members?

Why you ask... IRAN HAS NO

Iran does have a central bank. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Bank_of_the_Islamic_Rep...

The only two countries in the world without central banks are Andorra and Monaco.

The US has three reasons to make war on Iran (not VALID reasons, but close enough for government work): (1) our subservient relationship to Israeli interests; (2)the Iranian oil bourse, launched in 2008, which accepts only currencies other than the US dollar as payment for their oil; and (3) generous campaign contributions from war profiteers.

Very telling on two points...

This shows the power of the CFR and Neo Conservatives in our day to day lives, and the treason commited by elected officials caving in and spending our youths future for their own financial benefits, and furthering their empire. This nation has been bought and sold, and all representatives are nothing more than mouthpieces for those they are indebted to.

Always remember:

the only thing I can say here is . . .

I remember, when I was a child, deciding, when I heard about Corrie Ten Boom and others--

that I would be like that.

I would choose not to side with the furor (no pun intended); I would not choose to be part of the mob.

I would keep myself aloof from it and reason things out and take the compassionate side--

So, all I can say now is that there WILL come a time when all those who have chosen war will be deeply disappointed in themselves.

In the meantime, may those of *us* who choose peace find a way to help as many innocents as possible.

There is no question...

as to "who" is running the U.S. (and it ain't Americans).
