Real Wake Up Call for Ron Paul Supporters

"Robinson said he has no problem with grassroots campaigns, but for him Paul does not represent Republican values. And in many years, he said, not many Republicans come to the local caucuses, which means Paul supporters might be able to take over and send more delegates in favor of Paul to the state convention.
“That should be a red alert to regular Republicans,” Robinson said. “If you don’t want your party taken over, you better get involved.”"
I think this should be a red flag to us! Keep going to those meetings! Get registered to vote. Let's take over the GOP! We absolutely need the delegates. The party is starting to wake up---not to embrace us, but to fight us.

Here in Austin TX we are learning how to become delegates and how to, if necessary, take over the precinct chair. It is a numbers game and Ron Paul supporters need to get the information on how the process works and then go out in your precinct and canvass the neighborhood. If we bring enough people and insure that parlimentary procedures are followed at the precinct elections, we will be able to vote in Ron Paul supporters as delegates and as officers of the precinct. delegate.notlong.com, and you will find tons of information. We need to become delegates and precinct secretaries so we can insure that Dr. Paul gets a fair shake.

From Houston, I thank you for that information. I understand that the movement is much more well organized in Austin than it is here. I would like to learn more.

That report was from Bellingham Herald(?) in Washinton state. Was posted earlier. I sent a nice letter to the reporter to give him some more facts when interviewing these GOP dinosaurs.

I think the Austin Meet Up should be contacted, patted on the back and encouraged to take on this situation in Texas head on. We are facing similar situations here in Florida. We are attacking these issues through meet ups. and registering precinct people as well as delegates for the State Convention. We have a Rudy and Romney problem here. I suspect Texas has a McCain and Huckabee problem. after Today and our Tea Party, this should become the MAIN FOCUS in my humble opinion. State Delegate Drives !!!

And our local Republican party takes the view, that peace is when you have your boot on someone's neck. I notice that the are all well into their 60's and they really hate Ron Paul. The idea of cutting off subsidies to Israel make their heads spin, but taxes, inflation, and big goverment seems to be no problem at all...

I don't know... I've been going to the meetings and have been well received. I don't think the party at the local level is fighting us. It's the leaders that are getting the money out of it, not the locals.

I think this is the case almost everywhere
On the local government level people that have been there a while are excited to see new blood coming to the GOP. The few at the top are having a knee jerk reaction on this. The issue could be is that they are taken by surprise.
I can tell you the guys at the local level are open doors and welcome to Ron Paul supporters because we all agree on fiscal conservatism.
We should be welcome, not shut out.
It is our right to do so, and to be shut out because a few liberal Republicans are at the head is unconstitutional. People have a right to have a voice.
Of all things I am curious what stake these guys have in Israel and Saudi Arabia. I wonder if they realize that there may be a superhighway running down the middle of their state and the only candidate that will stop it is Ron Paul.
Seriously, I think some people are more concerned about other Countries than their own.

We can't let them keep the status quo. This is really put up or shut up for our Freedom and the Constitution. We have to be involved in every state's GOP.
