National ID is Coming. Will you accept it or not? What if you need it to vote?Submitted by true_believer on Thu, 08/16/2007 - 17:19
In 2005 real ID was made law. It goes into effect May 2008. So: If King George II and Congress make a new voting law that says you must have the national ID to vote, what will you do? From what I understand most people who support Ron Paul are against it. It sounds like most won't take it. What better way to get everyone to comply than using sanctions on every individual that doesn't take it? If you take the card you have just signed the death warrant for your liberty. If you decline you have no vote to stop them from taking your liberty. Pretty interesting dilemma if you ask me. Sounds like we have a few problems to work on the next18 months.
Fair voting (by paper ballot would be best).
Getting real I.D. overturned.
Winning a presidential election.
Sounds like alot of work - what do you think? For all those concerned: These are not the remarks of the Ron Paul campaign. They are just one little ole free individual thinking out load. So please save the flames about me bringing the campaign down. Even when I was 5 I was smart enough to know Chicken Little was a liar.
