Dr. Ron Paul on Huffington Post

Ron Paul's foreign policy is resonating with the liberals

Reps. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) and Ron Paul (R-Texas) are urging lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to push the President's Commission on Deficit Reduction for cuts in military spending, as they seek signatories to a letter circulated Tuesday.

The effort comes just a few months after Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, appointed his own bipartisan commission to look at ways to reduce America's bloated military budget.

The commission released a report in June, outlining how to cut $1 trillion in defense budget and reduce the deficit over the next decade, without compromising national security.

I see a frustrated left, looking.
It's already happened on the right.

I call that, 'A Perfect Storm'.

You're right

A lot of frustrated liberals on Huffpost, I've noticed a big change the last few months. Much more sympathy for Ron Paul and his ideas.

Gosh! Some sound like

Gosh! Some sound like libertarians/constitutionalists. What has become of the world? :P

"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that." — Alan Greenspan

Maybe because they are...

After all deep down, we all are conservative libertarians. We all have a bit of the founders in us ;)

It's just the right thing to do, to be conservative libertarian. It means you flat out demand government be small, carry your own weapon, take care of yourself and watch your own property without government interference.

The "corporate" boondoggle wrong headed wars all came from truly the far left, in fact when I think about it, the "far flung right" is the exact same as the far left. Leftist communist ideas of big government.

Only one difference: One communist ruled by the Israeli-globalist MIC spends all the money on increasing military hardware. The other communist ruled by the Israeli-globalist MIC spends every $$ on increasing government subsidized welfare.

Co-incidence? I think not!
(There does not seem to be any "two parties" in Israel far as any man can see btw..That place is communist..60% of the country either supports socialized racial apartheid government or militant racial apartheid government while the two sides "talk peace")

I think I can predict what the comments are on HuffPo....

"Wow, Ron Paul makes a lot of sense on foreign policy, but the rest of his views are CRAZAY.".

"Wow, Ron Paul makes a lot of sense on the drug war, but the rest of his views are CRAAAAAZY".

"Wow, Ron Paul makes a lot of sense on the Patriot Act, but the rest of his views are CRAAAAAAZYYYY".

"Wow, Ron Paul makes a lot of sense on closing Gitmo, but the rest of his views are INSANE!"

So, like, which of his views are insane?

"you know, the ones where Chris Matthews said he was a racist and stuff.. and OH YEAH so is his son!!!!".

The HuffPo will never change. Always the same idiot comments and always the same celebrity trash stories as the top read news items of the day lol. And they consider themselves soooo smart.

Please

post this comment at HuffPo. Heads exploding.

RON PAUL ANNOUNCED OF THE "ALEX JONES SHOW" TODAY

THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW IF HE IS GOING TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT OR NOT..IF HE DOES ANNOUNCE IT WON'T BE UNTIL NEXT YEAR...AND THIS IS CONFIRMED !!

Yeah, earth! It's hard to say

Yeah, earth! It's hard to say because it all depends on what'll eventually happen with Iran. TPTB won't let a freedom fighter challenge their game that easily and they are willing to do everything, even destroy our own country if they have to, in order to stay on top!

Blah, blah, blah. Election

Blah, blah, blah. Election year politics- from Barney anyway. RP is always digging under the rug looking for trash to throw out.

Lots of positive comments.

I am thrilled that they posted a video of Dr. Paul!

I think they may have just opened up a couple of more minds to the Liberty movement! :D

We need his foreign policy AND economic policy to resonate.

We have got to train the liberals that we have NO WAY to AFFORD these wrong-headed wars, or what I call "stupid is as stupid does" wars.

No budget, nothing to filter out and pay for it. Unjust wars are all a waste of time. Just wars are called for, as well as defense spending. But unjust wars, we are ANTI all unjust wars since they drain our country dry of resources.

Also lets have them understand: The Federal Reserve and the war machine work together to create a perpetual bubble of debt - this then collapses into a financial crisis. We can't afford any of this clap trap.

It makes some boondoggle officer's resume look good? What about all our homes, jobs, and paychecks we can't afford to put up on these unjust wars!??!? How about them, it's time to wake up!!!

Biggest thing the liberals need to get is NATIONALIZING the Fed, which Bill Still wants to do, is NOT the answer! It leads us all into a trap by the neo-liberal elite freeloaders. They are foaming at the mouth to nationalize everything like the socialist Dick Cheney.

These things always start out amicable

But as soon as Barney hears from the special interests (military-industrial complex, anyone?) he'll change his song and dance. He is worse than trying to nail jello to the wall.

My thoughts exactly.

Why Ron puts up with Fwank the traitor is beyond me. Unless, he is "keeping his enemy close..."
