Peace Vigil October 3rd Colchester Connecticut

Dear Democrats and Republicans,

The voters have had enough; No More $ For Endless War!

Unemployment is through the roof, health insurance is unaffordable, foreclosures are at a record high and yet we still spend $800,000,000,000 (billion) on the military budget each year. Seem like a lot of money? Well it is, and guess what, that doesn't even include the money for the wars which get funded by supplemental War Funding Bills in congress every few months to the tune of another $100,000,000,000 per year. This is all paid for by our tax dollars and spent by congress who seems to be out of touch with the public who expresses in poll after poll that they have had enough war.

Join Independents in demanding an end to this outrageous and wasteful spending of our tax dollars and the lives of young men and women in uniform (not to mention the countless innocent civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan).

Ok thanks

We are ironing out the details now. Definitely going to start at noon. Not sure if it should go for an hour or two. We both want to keep it open to all parties, affiliations etc..

lol, No I didn't put that sticker up..It's been there since around the time of the last election. I had put out a few yard signs back then but all were stolen or destroyed. Pissed me off. I actually had someone come a good distance into my yard and take one also.

I do have a bunch of bumper stickers left and yard signs. I plan on strategically putting them out soon around the area..
