Speaking of GMO connections...

Thought I would give this another run...

A group of nations have come together in order to develop an Anti-Counterfeiting Free Trade Agreement (ACTA) which would also cover intellectual property violations. This will effectively corral communications over the internet and monitor the flow of information which is the last bastion of unbiased reporting and free speech available on a mass scale. Mary Zachar of the Intellectual Property ADR Services asserts that copyright and the 1st Amendment are "twin pillars" which support the writing industry. Her article questions the wisdom of an aggressive pursuit of copyright infringement cases and the effect it will have on freedom of speech as well as the profitability of news outlets. She points to the fact that many blogs and forums are now calling for a boycott of newspapers filing suit for copyright infringement.

Enter Steve Gibson. Gibson is the owner of a law firm called Righthaven which specializes in copyright law. According to independent journalist Fintan Dunne, Gibson's firm has already launched over one hundred lawsuits targeting blogs, online papers and forums demanding payoffs of over $75,000 each. Gibson's political connections and the fact that many of his lawsuits target political entities are enough to raise a few eyebrows.

I have to say I suspect the same.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

for persistently pointing out the ACTA angle...

Hey Wild-Blue,

Have you seen these articles.

"This treaty would implement sweeping legal changes around the world bypassing existing international intellectual property organizations, like the World Intellectual Property Organization and the World Trade Organization, and without approval by the U.S. Congress. This means that the treaty could potentially lead to several controversial changes to U.S. law without any democratic legislative process." from http://www.publicknowledge.org/anti-counterfeiting-trade-agr...

"U.S. officials have said they do not expect the agreement to require changes to U.S. law so it would not have to be approved by Congress. However, that has only heightened concerns about what the pact would require." from http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE67J5A220100821

So who are we to believe? I for one don't believe what they say only what they have done and Their track record isn't very good.

you know what they say...

actions speak louder than words...

It would seem to me that

It would seem to me that Gibson and his law firm are in the extortion business and the best remedy would be to take him and his firm to court by a class action suite involving current and potential victims.

No. No class action. No compulsory schooling.

"I never let my schooling interfere with my education."

Class Action Suits: "Get out of Jail free, in fine tailored suits." Coming to a lawsuit near you. Stay away! Vipers!

Most class action suits are vipers. They pocket your damage claim. You are left wondering what to do with their damn coupons. I would sooner stake my own claim; far away from vipers.

You Must Be Confusing Your Facts With My Observations.

He was not digging. This I am sure. I been digging. I seen no hide, nor hair of him digging.

Near as I can come to aid in your confusion is this fact:

Administration sent staff down to the Fed discount window. They have bidden loaning out shovels. Commanded shovels to be loaned.

Bidden: He was "bitten" (past participle of bite) by the one who had "bidden" (commanded) him to come closer.

Plenty of things broken. All the work goes wanting. I don't mean wanting unemployment. I mean hard work.

Noting the lack of work being done, other folks are similarly confused. They must be figuring shovels are forbidden.
