Did Obama Order Bibles Burned?
There was a story at Drudge about Bibles sent to a soldier in Afghanistan that were burned by the U.S. Military.
It seems these Bibles were printed in two local languages and the soldier planned to give them to locals.
At first the military considered returning the Bibles to the sender. instead they burned them for fear they would be sent elsewhere.
Did Obama know about the burning? Was he complicit?
I don't remember him saying the burning of the Bibles was wrong. As Commander-In Chief he's responsible for the actions of those under him.
How can he oppose the burning of the Koran and support or accept the burning of Bibles?
I'm opposed to book burning or flag burning, but also oppose the government's violation of the First Amendment if they take action to stop it.

I have been in the mountains of SW NC off and on all month..walking up the Hiawasee River & Fires Creek fishing and hiking ,biking , fishing..exploring for a cabin with stream and spring!
Had so much fun even though I wiped out on the 'hanging dog creek trail on the bike and have the scabs to prove it!' Went down the Ocoee River rafting...way tooo much fun! I stayed at an Alpaca Ranch that was Ty Cobbs grandpas place in an 1861 cabin/smokehouse re done to an effeciency cabin in a too freaky Rooster Theme! Any way I also went to a blugrass festival and decided I would be awesome to play fiddle or mandolin!

The news agencies are carefully wording the international editions to imply that the US has an "International Burn a Quran Day"- as if we're all in on it. All accounts are implying that there will be a major violent reaction against US assets. My fear is that something is about to happen and they are propping up this little church to be the scapegoat for some attack. Somewhere there is probably some Christian church with 40 members doing a fundraiser for Pakistan flood victims to get new Quarans to replace their flood damaged ones- but that won't make the news.
