Alan Grayson for Florida 8th District
O.K., the guy is not exactly Ron Paul and he has socialist tendencies regarding domestic spending like voting in favor of Health Care Reform, but his big issues are in line with Dr. Paul. Foreign Policy, Monetary Policy, Bank Bailouts, Audit the Fed, are all 100% in lockstep with Dr. Paul’s positions on these issues.
According to a Politico article Grayson must be defeated in order for the Republicans to take over the house. His seat is under the “must become Republican” category …

I got to tell you, I would vote for Grayson before I voted for the Republican running in my district.
His opponent is Ric Keller (R), and I can’t even find his website.

I still would not vote for him. Its his backwards ass belief that govt gets it right that I cant support. He doesnt realize or believe that more govt is bad.
I hope the house turns and not the Senate. That way we have a better chance for Ron to be elected. Its going to be hard to sell Paul at his age to younger voters. The message is sound... its the presentation that matters.

If there is no Liberty
If there is no Liberty candidate and no real prospects for a real challenge, then he should stay in. He will find it hard to work in D.C. now that everyone knows what a backstabbing weasel he is, and he's likely to drive democrats to ruin in 2 years. Perhaps then, someone will come along with a more liberty oriented philosophy.

Alan Grayson hypocrisy supported the Fed.
Before Alan Grayson was elected, he was in a primary debate in Celebration, Florida-- where I live. I asked him about the Federal Reserve and the bailing out of Bear Stearns in the Spring of 2008. Keep in mind that this was about 6 months before TARP.
To make a long story short, he supported the Federal Reserve bailing out the Bear Steans with our tax money. His rationale was that they (the Federal Reserve) prevented another Great Depression!

As soon as I saw Grayson stick up for Georgia attacking the russians in Ossettia and praise the Flotilla raid, I knew he was a communist.
This pretend libertarian hates the Fed so he can get his buddies to start a "Global" Fed. In my opinion he should be fired as soon as possible.

It's Daniel Webster. Ric Keller is the RINO that Grayson beat out in '08.

I'd rather have a social justice type with principles
who wants to stop spending to kill over a neo-con any day. You could only hope that maybe that if the district was looney (sane?) enough to elect him, maybe they'd go for a liberty type too.

I read today that Harry Reid was insulting Sharon Angle because he had not met anyone who thought she was an "accomplished legislator." For that reason alone, she has my support.
