Free Speech (only in the "blue box" please)

On August 7th I went down to the local DMV here in Las Vegas to hand out a few flyer's in support Ron Paul. My candidate for President believes in free speech, but I was soon told that I did not have the freedom to talk about that unless I was in a "blue box"

Moreover, I must give my name and my supervisors name to the DMV authorities before I could be in that "blue box." I explained I was a private citizen and had no supervisor other than my wife. I was then told that it was NRS law that prohibit me from "soliciting" in front of the DMV. I explained that was not selling anything, "don't I have a right to freespeech?" They told me, "Yes, you have the right to free speech within the blue box." But the condition to this is getting their permission to be in the "blue box." If I fail to comply could I got to jail? And if I did, what would a judge (or jury) say? I contacted the ACLU and they told me that the court has decided cases like this... free speech is now limited to "free speech zones" like on the court house steps (or a public sidewalk) but the post office and DMV are no longer open to free speech. I was shocked. It seems we are losing our freedom a little at a time.

Free speech is being managed

Because you are not free to bother people, and people are becoming more easily bothered. That's why Ron Paul is hard to explain to certain people. They are used to using government against anyone that bothers them.

Recently in my town they cracked down on street preachers, who would go to public places, and Yell (and I mean yell) about salvation and Hell. Why that offended, and bothered the public, I don't know, I always liked hearing them, not because they made much sense, but because it meant freedom for me, too.

Sometimes the abbreviations get me. What's the DMV?
