RP on radio 8/16
Ron was very busy that day. Not only did he do the McClintock interview on Hedgekook's show, but he also put up with Hedgekook's San Diego arch-rival Stacey Taylor and his garbage in an interview on Randi Rhodes on Air America, and he also did an interview with Ed Schultz as well (Ed was a fantastic contrast to Taylor, treating Ron very fairly in an excellent interview, only prolbem was that Ron really needed to clear his throat!).
All that and the Illinois Straw Poll, too... SWEET!
"The Revolution will not be televised!"
Some notes . . .
We need to get Ron Paul on more talk radio shows!
Here's an idea . . .
If you liked this interview then you can go to KOGO and find Hedgecock's email address and politely request more Ron Paul interviews. If you take the time to learn more about the station and the program then the better the chances. I imagine if one says that they are curious to learn more about RP rather than professing to be a RP fanatic then that would help too.
Sounds simple right? But how many people who listened to this interview will actually go through the trouble of doing this? As of this writing, this radio post has gotten 365 reads. That's possibly 365 emails to the radio station!
A little game . . .
Also, if one out of twelve of these emails mentioned that they have heard of something called ronpaulradio and will be searching for that to find out more and tuning out to traditional radio then that might perk ears. To get one out of twelve then let's say anyone born in August mentions ronpaulradio in their request.
Notes to Dr. Paul . . .
1. Someone somewhere mentioned that Dr. Paul should refer to Al-Qaeda as "Al-Qaeda" and not "the Al-Qaeda." I agree. Funny that such a small choice of words could mean so much to so many people. By saying "the Al-Qaeda" Dr. Paul might be sowing seeds of doubt in voters' minds that he doesn't understand the threat the West faces from Al-Qaeda.
2. When asked about illegal immigration, Dr. Paul should always give his six-point plan and briefly outline each point. That's all he needs to say whenever anybody asks him about his stance on illegal immigration. Once he does that then he can answer the follow-up questions in more detail.
Just my opinion.
Mention Rabid Rick Roberts, a Paul Detractor
You might also mention that RICK ROBERTS, another Conservative voice on another station in San Diego has been so rabid in dismissing or in not discussing Congressman Paul, that it was refreshing to hear an objective, professional, and reasoned treatment of this most interesting Presidential Candidate, about whom you're curiousity has been picqued.
Roberts fills in for Michael Savage, so you know he's toeing the NeoCon line, to say the least.
A fantastic interview. Drive time in SD. Excellent exposure, and the Good Doctor was in fine form.
