Just ran the small yellow ticker tape news brief that Dr. Paul raised over 6 million yesterday. That's it. While running that they spoke of John McCain and went to weather.

8 minutes past the hour Fox asks, 'Guess who's got boatloads of money?" and showed a clip of Dr. Paul. They went on to say that fundraising yesterday, Sunday, has broken records of ANY republican by raising over 6 million dollars in one day- beating the previous record amount of 4 million.

Great Day For Freeport
Estimates range from 300 to 500 in attendance. Hard to get a firm number because people were inside and outside. One pair of individuals took the chance and drove down from Oklahoma - an 8 hour drive. I heard there was a group from the Dallas area. For our small community, this was exciting and a huge success. You can't help but get excited when Dr Paul speaks, but we've been blessed with Dr No's representation for 30 years. Boy are we appreciative that the rest of the nation are coming on board to support the man we all love.

And it was good to see video of him lifting it and then repositioning it for a good camera-shot! :) As with the little girl in Orlando, our man lifted the barrel with ease!!

All I could do was smile while watching that video. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There is only one person running for president. The rest are politicians.
Jesus is my Lord and my God, and Ron Paul, champion of all things freedom, including religion and the free exercise thereof, is my choice for president.

You would NEVER see any other politician get this close to his supporters on a daily basis.
The only thing I can compare this feeling to is when I'm watching my kids do something for the first time...the pride I feel. Dr. Paul makes me so proud...
And I love that he was wearing jeans like any normal person...lol...he reminds me so much of my Dad. (who's 84)

If you read the video description, you'll see that Ron had spent 4 hours with them prior to dumping the tea. He had to hurry off to other appointments, but had already chatted for a long while!
It's great he even showed up, seeing how the official campaign wanted to maintain a safe distance from the grassroots Tea Party rallies. Ron Paul was such a wonderful gentleman to come out on a Sunday, especially after church and in the middle of everything that's going on!
The poor man needs some time to rest -- it'll be a VERY busy week of non-stop "chatting" to the media, so he needs a good night of sleep, and couldn't be out all day! :)
