P.S. Henry... should I waste my time, if you believe so, or is it worth the watch. If you see this, l.m.k.. Thanks. We are on the same page, in many respects. I trust your judgement of this video, lol.

I know it's weird to talk this way here, but I just dreamed of a DailyPaul chatroom where everyone could talk about everything. Everyone could debate and learn and put Liberty into action, through shared ideas and coordination of activity.

It's a dream or fantasy, or whatever you want to call it. I guess this forum is not meant to be like that. I have to get that idea out of my head.

I would definitely donate though to make that dream a reality. It could be great as I imagine it.

If you want to understand how fascism has overtaken our

once free society, then the video gives a good picture.

I did not feel that I wasted my time watching it.

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.

So what are ya gonna do about what you learned in the video?

The key is in spreading the message.

Forward the video and tell them this is why you got to boycott these international corporations and SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SMALL FARMS.

There is a solution to the

There is a solution to the Food problem it is people like Joel Salatin, www.polyfacefarms.com . Either support people like him in your area or follow his model. Problem solved.

And how does this solve the problem of the monopolistic

control of grains?

You might be able to get safe beef, pork poultry, and eggs from small scale producers like this, but what about grains?

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.

Do not buy from them. Only

Do not buy from them. Only purchase grains that are grown organically. For instance listen to what Troy Roush was saying in the film, paraphased 'If the people demand good wholesome food the farmers will be more then happy to grow it for them.'

Look at the part of this video that covers the take over of

seed production by Monsanto, and the extreme difficulty anyone has in resisting or obtaining seeds not "owned" by Monsanto.

Monsanto has already completed its takeover; a corn grower cannot realistically plant anything else. Did you watch the full video, save for part 11 which apparently is unavailable?

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.

Yes I have seen the entire film, twice.

I downloaded it from www.thepiratebay.org last winter and watched it, and sat my parents down and made them watch it this summer. And yes I realize that Monsanto has contaminated the world with their abomination. But if you buy organic grains even if some of the yield is contaminated at least you are not buying from Monsanto.

What I am trying to say is we are not powerless while we are trying to change the slow moving monstrosity called the Federal Government. We can fight them with economics (money), the only thing the corporatists understand. If you want to get their attention STOP BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS.

In fact, if you listen to

In fact, if you listen to Percy Schmeiser, 90% of all corn in Canada is contaminated with GMO. So, even organic isn't necessarily safe anymore:

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/144017

Two actions that would solve this problem.

Dissolve the federal government.

On a State level, pass Constitutional amendments prohibiting the State from creating corporations and revoke all existing corporate charters. Corporations have always been creatures of the state, and herein lies their evil nature.

Of course these actions are not likely to occur tomorrow. But what is likely to happen is the end of the industrial age, including industrial agriculture, for want of sufficient energy to fuel it, with the federal government failing, and people taking matters into their own hands in a sort of French Revolution style retribution against politicians and bureaucrats and people in corporations such as Monsanto, big banks, and others who have bought the power of government to fleece the majority.

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.

I thought everyones already

I thought everyones already seen this? Here is a Bump in case they haven't.

Thanks

It gives me some hope.

Don't forget the pink slime!

According to the New York Times, The "majority of hamburger" now sold in the U.S. now contains fatty slaughterhouse trimmings "the industry once relegated to pet food and cooking oil," "typically including most of the material from the outer surfaces of the carcass" that contains "larger microbiological populations."

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/31/us/31meat.html?_r=1

This "nasty pink slime," as one FDA microbiologist called it, is now wrung in a centrifuge to remove the fat, and then treated with AMMONIA to "retard spoilage," and turned into "a mashlike substance frozen into blocks or chips".

The company, Beef Products Inc., had been looking to expand into the hamburger business with a product made from beef that included fatty trimmings the industry once relegated to pet food and cooking oil. The trimmings were particularly susceptible to contamination, but a study commissioned by the company showed that the ammonia process would kill E. coli as well as salmonella.

Officials at the United States Department of Agriculture endorsed the company’s ammonia treatment, and have said it destroys E. coli “to an undetectable level.” They decided it was so effective that in 2007, when the department began routine testing of meat used in hamburger sold to the general public, they exempted Beef Products, Inc.

With the U.S.D.A.’s stamp of approval, the company’s processed beef has become a mainstay in America’s hamburgers. McDonald’s, Burger King and other fast-food giants use it as a component in ground beef, as do grocery chains. The federal school lunch program used an estimated 5.5 million pounds of the processed beef last year alone.

Pathogens died when enough ammonia was used to raise the alkalinity of the beef to a high level, company research found. But early on, school lunch officials and other customers complained about the taste and smell of the beef.

Beef Products said the ammonia did not pose a danger and would be diluted when its beef was mixed with other meat. The U.S.D.A. accepted Beef Product's conclusion, but customers still complained about the smell.

In response, Beef Products lowered the amount of ammonia and the alkalinity, and the U.S.D.A. said it had determined that “at least some of B.P.I.’s product was no longer receiving the full lethality treatment.”

When the pink slime is added to ground beef it saves Beef Products, Inc.THREE CENTS a pound off production costs. Beef Products Inc. has $440 million/year in revenue.

U.S.D.A. department microbiologist, Gerald Zirnstein, who called the processed beef "pink slime" in a 2002 e-mail message to colleagues, stated: "I do not consider the stuff to be ground beef, and I consider allowing it in ground beef to be a form of fraudulent labeling."

Disgusting

A friend of mine at work tried to convince me to eat at McDonald's with him last week. I had never heard of the pink slime, but I tried to explain to him why I don't eat factory farmed meat. He just laughed and said "The key is to not think about what you are eating." Needless to say I had a salad for lunch that day.

People have no idea what they are putting in their bodies... thanks for shedding light on this despicable practice.

mmmm! sounds delicious!

!

You know its bad when...

Georgia prison officials returned 7,000 pounds of BPI’s filler, after prison cooks complained about the strong ammonia smell. One Georgia agriculture department official told the Times, “It was frozen, but you could still smell ammonia. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Every time you buy stuff at those places

Every time you buy some stuff at those places,

it puts a big smile on those cold hearted faces.

The money then goes to lobbyists and lawyers.

Think about the men in the courtroom foyers.

They're faced with jail or a great big fine,

and forced to cross an ethical line.

So while you sit and chew their junk,

Consider a moment how low you've sunk.

Your wrecking your health,

and wasting your wealth,

and making good men betray their friends.

Free includes debt-free!
