Do things ever really change?

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter,

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.

Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, who acquit the guilty for a bribe but deny justice to the innocent.

For they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel. Is 5:20-24. NIV

The Congress can't "update" the Bill of Rights.

This is why I refer to them as criminal politicians. They have all taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution.

Just look at us...

Question

So here's a question I have. When they say "current" laws allow them to get to all the information in between, are they referring to the Patriot Act or some law from 1994?

They refer to 1994 laws but what laws?

Isn't it the patriot act that allowed for Warrantless Wiretapping? Could they do Warrantless Wiretapping before that?

1994=CALEA

The legislation from 1994 is CALEA. In 2005 the FCC expanded it (via a ruling) to cover VoIP and broadband Internet, so the FBI Director seems to be either knowingly deceitful or outright lying.

What would happen if everyone started using PGP

Or other encryption to send and receive emails? That would make for an impossible mission for these oath taking defenders of the constitution! What in the world happened to the days of a warrant? Long gone are the days of sense and reason and onward with the police state. What has government done for you lately?

Always remember:

Not surprising,

considering that it appears to be Obama's job to try to destroy the lives of almost everyone on planet Earth.

What bill is it?

What's the bill? Reference anyone?

if they use the same software

if they use the same software that my credit card company has then we shouldn't have a problem lol. I usually get frustrated and hang up....

FBI had wiretapped, had the data in 2001. But didn't act

Now they can collect more data they won't act on?

Jeez, imagine that? Wanting to speak to your cousin

in California without some government goons (errr- computerized surveillance bots) listening in on the conversation?! Did you think the government was going to pay actual humans to listen in on these conversations for hours on end in real-time?

It's not unfathomable that every conversation can/will be converted from voice-to-text, archived, indexed, and likely patterned. One cannot reasonably say that this is "out there"...the technology is already upon us. I'm not a tin-foil hat kind of guy, but legislation like this scares me and it should scare you too if you are interested in preserving individual liberty.

Big time BS (bull shit) most of the encripped email from

individuals is when they order an item from a company via email with a credit card. The state governments lose sales tax on many of these transations. This law will give those states the information to collect that tax to balance their over bloated spending crisis so the Feds won`t have to bail them out.
Just more pure BS from the government!

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people that pay no price for being wrong.

Nothing surprising here though.

and if some of you still hope

and if some of you still hope that those bills are invalid, because of ineligibility.
Biden is co-signing everything from day one.

Biden is Invalid

Biden is invalid too because of Barry's ineligibility.
