Actors being recruited for the audience at Obama's 10/14 townhall meeting

Not surprised one bit

ABC News has picked up the story. Drudge is linking the ABC version now.

As a business owner I have no problem telling the government to kiss off when they call for service. Why don't others have the same ability? Or are they just braindead?? This is beyond the pale.

That's right! Back during Obamas' run for presidency. As the story goes according to a few citizens in the small town of Kempton, Indiana.
To support family ties, etc. with Obama and his mothers background there were at least three greyhound size buses that rolled into a small town. Many people filed off of each bus and were put into different line ups and groups for photos. These were friends and family members,supposed ties to the Obama line from back in the day.
The story goes by some of the locals, that not one towns person was asked to be in the pictures. Not even a few of the eighty plus years people who were actually around during the time that the so called family and friends were there and possibly knew of his mother and families history.
Obama and the convoy was only there for a short time. No one in town of roughly three hundred or so from outside of that group were allowed to be near the event.
After the quick set up and photo shoot. It was off to the next destination.
Many of the towns people seemed to be upset and disgruntled about the lack of coverage and or association with the towns people. Especially those who have lived there for over eighty years.

As you may know if you've ever attended a TV show taping, before the show they have someone come out and "warm up" the audience.

Look at the audience for Dr. Phil, or any game show where they show the audience: they are taught to clap with their hands at chest level so it can be seen, and to clap really quickly, so that it sounds like more people clapping enthusiastically.

People don't do that in real life.

I don't watch any Obama or Clinton speeches, but I do recall one event where it was obvious that the audience had been coached. It's likely that any campaign that can afford to do this, probably does.
