1) This is conditional upon Ron exiting the race to win the GOP nomination. A 3rd party can't win, period. I know there are a lot of "It's time for Ron to run 3rd party" people here, but It's like saying "Yes, I want Ron to give up and lose".
2) Ron would be excoriated in the media for selecting a 9/11 truther. He would not be able to unite the GOP base to get rid of 0bama, and he would lose the general election.

He Should have came back to Minnesota to

I think he has charisma, and there is something about him~~that "don't mess with me" attitude that I like.
My first preference would be Judge Napolitano, but I just don't think he's interested, since he wants the SUPREME COURT position. It's just that the Judge needs to realize I doubt this would happen at all. Where he is MOST NEEDED is with Dr. Paul, helping us save what's left of our Republic.
It would also RE-energize the campaign.

IMHO, it would be a mistake strategically and otherwise to nominate a truther, and Ventura is very much a truther. For what it is worth, one of his former closer aides told me that he is in constant and servere pain because his body was badly damaged by all the years of wrestling and thus may not be up to a campaign.

Paul/Ventura? It's brilliant! If they can put aside their differences Ron and Jesse are a combination that NOONE could ignore! The Howard Stern show appearance should be your first clue... Sorry, I know a lot of us on here adore this guy and he hits many of your buzz words. If you really take this at face value you know propping Jesse up with Ron is a political nightmare and frankly suicidal for Ron Paul.

Ventura sounds too smug
with his willingness to run as Ron Paul's VP "IF" Dr. Paul goes independent. Sounds more like a demand that a wish.
Ventura desires to be the tail wagging the dog if partnered up with Dr. Paul. Running as VP is nothing more than a backdoor method by him of getting himself in power by exploiting the hard won grass-roots capital that Ron Paul has earned over the years.
Such a comment sounds like he's desperate to get back into the limelight and into politics. As others have mentioned, Jesse has seldom said much about Ron Paul, and to me that speaks volumes that the man cares more about his own personal promotion than applauding the ideas Ron Paul has advanced waaaaaaay before Jesse even thought of them. Jesse's ego is broadcasting that loud and clear.
