Time to set the timers on the vote bombs.

0 votes

We have reached the peak of our fund raising efforts and it is time to shift gears to a vote bomb strategy. Historically only 15% or so of supporters actually participate in the primaries and to be able to win we have to have a record breaking showing. We need everyone of Dr Paul’s supporters to participate in these primaries REGARDLESS of the weather conditions. While I strongly suggest continuing our efforts in getting Paul's message to as many new people as possible a candidate does not need a majority of supporters to win ... only that more supporters show up during the election.

Anyone have any ideas how we can organize this?

Naw, we don't need door to door singing........

Ron Paul's messege is so clear and keen, people just need to see it in print in the form of newspaper ads duplicating the ad the kind gentleman ran in the USA Today paper. That ad said it all..........and we just need to keep those facts in front of people. Over, and over.

Passive support doesn't get

Passive support doesn't get a person out in the snow/ice. :p

What we need is a

"Grassroots Map." One that shows activities and events in each state. And within that state a sub map showing leaders to contact and events for each county within these states.

I base this idea on this:

and this

Shift those gears

I agree, shifting gears, we have to talk about the voting and delegates. Most people (including me) have no idea what to do as a delegate, how many there are, etc. There is no place to get this information that I know about. A lotta learnin' has to go down now.

I think we should find out where Iowa, or was it Ohio, got their big 8 banner billboard and get those out into as many cities as possible asap. I suggested they contact all the meetups, but don't know if they did.

Ron Paul caroling door-to-door

Go door-to-door with friends, family, meet-up group and sing Ron Paul's praises!

Thresh

Blasphemy!!

great idea tho!

I think it should be low key, tho.

A lot of Christians might take offence if it's TOO political.

So maybe straight caroling, but "brought to you by carolers for Ron Paul" or something like that and then drop some lit.

Just a thought...

Pretty sure RP supporters

Pretty sure RP supporters will vote 100%!

We can't afford to assume

We can't afford to assume ... this, like the money bombs, needs to be quasi-organized in some way. We can't allow things like weather to be a factor if we are to win. We need to have plans and backup plans for any conceivable situation.

That's the spirit? What do

That's the spirit? What do you suggest? Meetups to organize?

I think we need to accept the lib's phone system.

I think we need to accept the lib's phone system. We could use the meetups to power the phone system to not only get the message out, but spread the offer of a pickup service. I wouldn;t know how to organize such a thing on a state by state basis, but I am hoping someone here would have an idea to further this cause.

Offer carpools to voters

Put signs outside of your houses in Iowa and New Hampshire advertising their e-mail address and carpool information. Everyone would love a warm ride to the polls.

Or rent a bus/van for your neighborhood.

Do we have what we need for that?

Do we have any sort of list with names, contact info, and addresses that we can provide that? Perhaps we could use the libertarian's party phone system to ask people if they would like to schedule a pick up for the primary?
