Seriously, what he has accomplished as a political newbe, with all that was stacked against him, at 1/100th of the budget of the Republicrats, is increadable. You are witnessing the rise of a star. Jake is a big part of the future of the Liberty movement. Jake will leave a lasting mark on this country.

... well, I don't know. I'm a Christian and would prefer my candidate to be pro choice, but I would still vote for Jake, though I can't. I live in TX. I sent him money though. I'm ashamed of Christians who are pro life and pro war. I don't go to church because of that pervasive Christian attitude. The GOP elite have used their so-called pro life stance to get all these RINOs, fom Bob Dole to McCain, on the ballot and elected. I would call on Christians to vote for Jake.

Seems to me, Pro-life and anti-war are very consistent.

Pro-choice would only be consistent with pro-war.

Or is it you aren't concerned with agreeing with yourself, rather you just don't like it when someone wants to kill a different group of people than you'd like to see killed?

How does being pro-choice equate with Christianity again? I seem to recall from my 13 years in Catholic school, that "though shalt not kill" and "Do unto others as you would have done to you" should pretty much exclude any possibility of being "pro-choice" with respect to ending a pregnancy as a "Christian" leaning position.

We do agree on one thing for sure - EVERYONE should vote for Jake Town. (and not just Christians)

they may have removed "pistolpete's" comment. I wrote to the admin and alerted them that this his comments were slanderous and had no basis in truth.

It would be one thing if PP wanted to talk about the issues, but clearly chose to take cheap shots, and lie.

I'm glad the LVL saw it for what it was and removed it.

Now we all look a bit silly responding, to an invisible pistolpete, but I would rather have that, than his blatant lies.

Do they know he wants to fight Islamic terrorism with "peace and love" and that he calls America's soldiers "occupiers?"

Not only is Towne not READY to be in Congress, he's not even on the same planet as Congress.

@MarieSaul .....At least you have a few more brain cells than pistolpete who just chooses to make up lies and take cheap shots. I commend the editors here for seeing through the BS of the other candidates, and endorsing someone that TRULY has the interests of the district at heart. I have a news flash for you.....IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11. Last I checked 15 of the 9/11 hijackers were from SAUDI ARABIA. Why is it that the US just made the LARGEST ARMS DEAL IN HISTORY with a country who had the majority of hijackers attack us? The bottom line is that US foreign policy has FAILED. We are CREATING MORE ENEMIES THAN WE CAN KILL. You can try and reason and say well "Saddam was a bad guy and needed to be taken out" Well GUESS WHAT. The US shouldn't have put him into power in the late 70's IN THE FIRST PLACE. You need to study a little bit of history, and understand that sending our troops off to fight for oil, and protect opium crops, as well as prop up hideous dictators IS NOT what this country is about. You need to study what the CIA term called "BLOWBACK" means. Imagine if a foreign army had occupied PA, and bombed all of your infrastructure, killed innocent family members, and raped and tortured others. You'd be pretty mad at them for doing that. Imagine if one of your family members was sent off to a secret prison and tortured to DEATH. I would hope that wouldn't sit well with you either.. You need to wake up and smell the coffee, because your ignorant statements are smelling up this discussion. One other small correction. THANK GOD he is not on the "same planet" as CONgress. Last I checked CONgress had an 11% approval rating. It is time to CLEAN HOUSE of these scumbag politicians, that are concerned with NOTHING ELSE other than their OWN INTERESTS or the SPECIAL INTERESTS that are lining their pockets with campaign funds. Jake TRULY represents WE THE PEOPLE.

I can't fault people for not understanding a non-interventionist foreign policy. I was one of those people who was for the war before I knew "non-intervention" existed. It is easy to say non-intervention, but to really get into it and understand it takes some work and research.

Its funny how many things are hidden from you when your growing up. Never knew Libertarian existed until my Junior year in College. I always considered myself a "moderate" republican, but now know I was a Liberty Republican all along.

Its very important to point out to those people that non-intervention doesn't mean isolationism or being a wimp. IF those countries attack us, we have the obligation to attack back. Or if an entity or group attacks us.. we attack the group through marque and reprisal. NOT by invading a country and "nation-building". By having a strong National Defense it is unlikely countries will attack us, especially if we let them manage their own lives.

Great to see Jake get this endorsement and write up ( wish it would have come sooner..but better late than never!) I just watched the debate this morning (I've been offline most of the week) and thought he did exceptionally well! The audience reaction was clearly in his favor..now, if they will just set aside the right left paradigm and VOTE FOR JAKE TOWNE!!
