Let the World Know! How Was Your Tea Party?!

0 votes

Yesterday was the big day! We had an excellent day in Boston, in spite of the weather. Faneuil Hall was rocking with the exuberance of revolution! We had about 600 people in attendance, I'd say. You can watch the entire proceedings here:

So how was it in your town? Post your comments below, and links to your blogs, sites & videos for all to see. Great job everyone!!!

Hi, I am the guy who made this video that I hope everyone will spread to everyone you know! And give it 5-stars and make it your favorite!

Now, I have been getting suggestions that maybe I should do a 2.0 version of this video for the other Tea Parties that were not included in this version.

Sooo, if you have good quality pictures of your event that you would like to be included in America's New Year's Day! 2.0 video, please email me links and/or photos to dmc4rp@yahoo.com.

Thanks everyone!

Let's blitz for Dr. Paul!

Also, if you are interested in downloading a high-res version of this current video (Quicktime movie 103 MB), please email me also. I am uploading it to xdrive.com and it should be made available soon. The high-res version is much much better than this YouTube version and you can really crank up the volume and put it on your large screen TV or LCD projector and this video really rocks (if I may say so myself!).

California Central Coast Meetup

About 25 members of our group got together, had some tea, watched the fundraising and then Painted the Town Ron. Our county woke up Monday morning to an additional 300 signs. Over the past 6 weeks, we have posted more than 700 signs and banners through out our county. Here is a brief video:

Pittsburgh, PA

Ours has been renamed the "ICED TEA PARTY!" :)

We had about 15 members show up which under the circumstances wasn't a bad crowd. The weather was terrible with snow and winds easily above 40 mph. We didn't even get to chuck our boxes into the river as the wind pretty much negated that option.

However, we all had RP signs and thousands of Steeler's game attendees saw us standing in the freezing cold holding his signs. One passerby even came up and offered us all a free ticket to the game saying "You guys are really dedicated so I felt compelled to offer you this extra ticket". Due to the cold, nobody wanted to use it. After standing for 1-1/2 hours in the freezing cold there was nobody in the group who wanted to sit outside any longer.

So despite the awful conditions, we got Ron's name out to lots of people. so in the end, it was a success.

Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA tea party: 75+

We were packed into a tiny little place with tons of energy. Cheered the donation meter every time it jumped, while watching videos and talking excitedly. Outside, "Ron Paul Theater" was being projected onto a large white screen as the audio blasted (not tooooo loudly though, heheh) the nearby street, talking about freedom, prosperity, and PEACE!

Fun fun fun. Even a state GOP guy came by looking to do some party fundraising. He doesn't support Ron (yet -- foreign policy, don't ya know), and was debating some of us about various things, but I still caught him chuckling at one of the videos once. We do have a lot of fun, don't we? :-)

Vegas Tea Party

Missed the march to the IRS building but had a great time drinking at the bar downtown that was FILLED with RP supporters. No clue how many were there initially but there was a few hundred at the after party. And that brunette bartender that was working was amazingly hot. It was a good night. :)

Bakersfield, CA Tea Party

It was great. We had a 20% turnout. Everyone was very excited. We ate pizza and planned. It was and always is a relief to see so many people demanding freedom! Sharing stories, ideas, and planning was awesome.

The excitement was uncontainable. What a revolution... Oh yeah, we also made this awesome Ron Paul sign!!!! We finished it lastnight... Want one, contact our group...

Mauston WI Tea Party

15 supporters gathered in this small town to celebrate and indulged in venison, goat meat, and BBQ southern ribs. We probably advanced bathroom scale numbers more than the r3volution. Sign waivers from Madison said that horn beeps are no further than fifteen seconds apart now. The response to RP signs continues to grow. A bonfire at dark symbolicly purged of us all manner of legislative and bureacratic curses.

Sacramento, Ca Tea Party 07

It was awesome! We had over 100 people gathered at Tex Wasabi's Rock and Roll Sushi Barbeque! The owner offered to donate 25% of all the night's receipts directly to the campaign, it came out to be over $500!

Bellevue, WA

Lots of new faces...

Our meet-up group took out a large half page, full color add in the Seattle Weekly in support of Ron Paul's Presidency.

The add will be on page 12 this Wednesday, December 19.

Congrats to Jandee for a job well done!

I urge others to do the same in your local paper.

Eugene, Oregon

Eugene Ron Paul-Meetup made the local news!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjyRjnyESTU

...We had over 50 supporters from Roseburg, Eugene, Corvallis, and Portland join us in a tea party re-enactment "Ron Paul-style". Received a ton of honks, thumbs up and waves!

Boston Tea Party

Was awesome. I had a friend drive from Pennsylvania through that storm and we just made it to Boston for 1:30. We were a block away from Faneuil Hall and we could hear the chants of "Ron Paul"!! Very impressive.

Really, just to be in that great hall talking about the future of our country just like Adams and Hancock and all the rest meant more to me than probably even the birth of my children.

Santa Monica, California

It was huge! We had people from all over Southern California. We marched through a busy shopping district, 3rd Street Promenade, to the Santa Monica Pier where the ceremonial dumping was held.

At one point, in the cold wind off the ocean, using my RP sign as a shield, I pitied myself. Only a fraction of a second though, as I suddenly remembered the weather in Boston! I was wearing my RP T-shirt over another shirt, so I'd say the cold was relative.

I'll let someone else estimate the crowd. I heard 900 and 1,200, but don't know for sure. It was enough to fill a good sized movie auditorium and streched for blocks, once we got going.

any videos?

I am surprised we do not have videos from the various tea parties. It will be great for the morale of the movement.

Ton of videos on YouTube..

Ton of videos on YouTube.. just enter keywords "Tea Party Santa Monica".

There must have been 300 to 500 people there. Just huge, loud and exciting. THE ONLY THING WE WERE MISSING WAS THE MEDIA! Apparently the organizers must have forgotten to alert the local media, because all I saw were the video cameras of RP supporters. It would have been great news coverage. There was even a little girl leading the call & response at one point.

The austin tea party

In Austin TX we turned out between two and three thousand people for our tea party. It was inspiring to see people from all walks of life coming together for the common cause of liberty. People who have never even voted are training to become delegates from their precincts. The momentum is building and people are opening their minds and, even more surprisingly, their wallets to the message and the man behind it. God bless Ron Paul, the lone voice in the wilderness for so long has finally found his people, and we him.
