Bad idea. We need to spend what little time we have left by getting in front of NON Ron Paul supporters. At this point of time, it is a waste of time and money to spend time with other Ron Paul supporters.

To think something like this could be done by Jan. 7th is idealistic in the extreme. But something like this CAN be done.

Let's see how some of these primaries go, let our votes do their work, and then afterwards we organize this. Because, let's say we get screwed in a lot of states by rigged electronic voting machines, which is a reality says many recent university tests done, and RP gets ignored in the media even more? Or, let's say RP wins New Hampshire, takes a few other states including Alaska, Nevada, and whatever else, and so Ron Paul starts getting the media attention he deserves, which translates into common and acceptable discourse for normal people, that is what ever is in the media.

In either of those scenarios, a very large, national showing of support would have dramatic affect. Every single Ron Paul supporter doing whatever it takes to get together and just shut down for a day. I don't know what or how, but everyone taking the day off of work or school or whatever and making a large group presence. We could have individual states organize their major rally centers which would cause many people to have to drive far out of the way to attend, but we need concentrated crowds, not small groups peppered in small towns.

We could get the America: Freedom To Fascism volunteer network to help organize this as something along these lines was dreamt of by the late Aaron Russo. His dream consisted of us "shutting down" the country through non-action in protest of the entire corrupted governmental system, but I'm rambling!

I think this is a great idea that needs much more fleshing out and preparation, but if EVERY SINGLE Ron Paul supporters partook, well, the country would listen.

This is huge.

They have to know we are many. We have to let them know we are serious. We have to let them know we can win. They are believeing the media that we can't get enough people to win. We must prove them wrong. We can't trust the media to ge our message out.

Hey I mentioned Hands Across America in jest, but this might be a real thing we could do if there are enough of us. Are there? Is it possible? We could call it "Join Hands, America. Volunteers for Ron Paul".

it is expensive and you are looking at still the National Controlled Media effect. Why not all just agree to meet at our local Federal Buildings on that day and look to capture the local media. And do it on the fifth when the buildings will be empty security concerns lighter and more people avialable.

Let's see if we can make it happen. I'm going to start with my local meetup group and see how we link up the State of Texas.
