Here is a way to see DP posts organized by day (superseded!)
Submitted by Joη on Sat, 11/13/2010 - 03:01Hia!
In order to minimize duplicate posts, this auto-updating live list shows the last 1000 posts on the Daily Paul in chronological order:
I encourage you to check here before posting something, particularly if its subject is timely, so we may all share (instead of repeat and fracture) the same conversation.
Should you wish to help promote using this by, for example, linking to it in your signature, you would want to copy and paste the following:
<a href='http://goo.gl/3O1jM'><b>Last 1000 Posts</b></a>
or for those who love alphabet soup:
<a href='http://goo.gl/3O1jM'><b>DPK</b></a>
A shortened URL is used, as the full URL to the list will sometimes be truncated and broken when auto-linked by the Daily Paul.
update 1: Thanks Michael for the site fixture! I'll be watchful to maintain it.
update 2: I did everything on my end to keep it working, but when Google just takes my stuff down, well, I can't do too much about that. Sorry everyone! We may try using the site (instead of Google) to perform this function in the near future.
update 3: From a Google tech: "We're looking into this for you, thanks for your patience." We'll see what they say.
update 4: Google disappoints me. I have made an equivalent, hopefully more stable list that stores the last 1000 posts.
update 5: In what I hope is not considered site-treason, I have added a similar aggregator that watches Ron Paul Forums. You may find questions answered there as well. Notably, their off topic threads are not visible to the public.
update 6: Seeing posts chronologically can now be done in-site with the chrono. This was suggested by many members, and is most reasonable to do. The only thing more reasonable would have been to have an all-inclusive forum header-sortable by post date, but Recent Posts, the only all-inclusive forum page, is not capable of being sorted by any other metric than last update, so something needed to be changed or added. My spreadsheet will remain available for now, should anyone still use it.

I there a easy way to mend fracture threads?
Have Chrome now. Your extension demo on utube was a great idea. I hate to read instructions.
Free includes debt-free!
oi
are you saying you're using chrome & my DP++ extension that has a youtube vid from way back when, and randomly the threads started not loading properly? I stopped supporting that b/c no one was using it! All the spreadsheets involved with all the custom blocks to share tags and votes are off and a main one broke a month back, too...no plans on fixing that. I haven't even used the extension in over a month. Some of the good parts are being moved to script-only with the bookmarklet...
Or are you using my site changes demo bookmarklet, and the threads are appearing too far up?
In either case, I just refresh and that usually fixes things. Since no errors appear, I'm really in the dark as to how to go about fixing that when I randomly see it.

Thanks for the update.
Saw video and liked the DP++ demo. Looked like it might be useful and fun. Haven't tried it yet. I am slow to change some things. So I don't have any comments on that. Sorry about the confusion. I am not reporting problems.
I use the /tracker list and often see duplicate posts with each carrying a load of comments.
I noticed you have posted links for one onto the other. That's one option, anyone can do it.
Merging comments would be messy. It would probably be best server side, if at all. Just thinking out loud.
Daily Paul Script Sandbox - this is the one that seems like fun.

OOoOO
I was the one misplaced, you were referring to "fracturing conversation" which I say above! Duh. Ok.
Yeah, short of a mod closing down comments to prevent further conversation after a comment of "duplicates!" is verified, there isn't any way to move over to another thread. I hadn't thought of that, though, and bet it would be possible, but messy, yes... Thanks.

due to popular demand, Posts By Day is back
slightly simpler and more stable:
DPK, or The Last 1000 Daily Paul Posts
thanks everyone below for the kind words.

The last update for the last 1000 posts page is
...from January 31. Is there any chance that the page will be updated?
it was replaced by:
http://www.dailypaul.com/chrono
How come you're still using the spreadsheet? Is it that there were 1000 @ a time?
"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it."
I really do like the 1000 results @ a time...
...but I also was a bit behind the curve. I thought there might have been a replacement page for the spreadsheet, but I wasn't sure what it was.
Yipee!
This is very helpful, thanks.

Jon, you are AWESOME.
Heartfelt thanks for the amazing work you do for this site!
Not loading on my Ubuntu box
I'm not seeing anything when I view the page using Mozilla and Ubuntu. Here is a screenshot of what I see:

This was working
for me a couple weeks ago, but now when I click on it at the home page, just get the grey shading, but no listings. Maybe something on my end?
Its great to forgive, but that doesn't mean they qualify as "leader"!
he talked with google tech guy about this
hope it can be fixed soon.

I just want to Thank you
for your efforts, it was a easy way to catch things that fell off the front page.

It was great
...while it lasted. This doesn't appear to be working anymore :^( Any chance getting this Daily Paul Digest fixed?
I was digging it too
It was a great way to start the day and catch up quickly.I didn't realise it wasn't working.
"You go and carry off the enemy's land; the enemy comes and carries off your land"-Ancient Sumerian tablet
Nice tool; made catching up less distractive.
Without it we're back to bookmarks and the DP search engine and that's ok too.

I use this constantly now! Love it. Thanks Jon.
Michael, Could we maybe move the ads to the left side and then add this list to the right of the log-in, active topics etc.? Just a thought.
same here
I use it several times a day.

I do too..it is wonderful
I do too..it is wonderful
Great job.
But, it is a bit hard on the eyes due to the table cell borders. It jumbles it up. Can you try without the borders?
nope, I cannot
google spreadsheets don't have much control over borders: either kinda light gray or black.
Best I could do is make the white background light gray to blend, or make the borders & background black and the text white.
I can't really make it much prettier. °◠°
"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it."
hmm...
Its also the underline links. Can those go?
Could try the black on white...
Pretty handcuff'd ...

THANK you SO much for this

Bump: Got that one bookmarked for sure.
Using the "search" command feature also works very well.
"Know before you post" is a great way to minimize duplicating traffic on the busy DP.
We need a "button" topside
to use before we post, Thanks
Nice Resource
I wish there were a seperate section where we place polls on the internet so we can more easily find them and vote in them. I posted one the other day, and we're doing extremely well, but it was only up for a few hours during the overnight. If there were a lot more voters, we would not have done so well.
Here's the page, and the 2012 Presidential poll will be there over the weekend:
