This is THE BEST day to "kickoff" the next BIG NATIONWIDE effort -- It will come on the HEELS of a "good position" in IOWA, and a "very good position" in NEW HAMPSHIRE...
And if we band together, the RonPaulNation *AND* the campaign push together in a BOOTS ON THE GROUND effort of campaigning and canvassing into ALL of the remaining "early states" and massively into the TWENTY ONE so-called "Super-Duper-Tuesday" states that vote on February 5th.
Plus, we raise a BOATLOAD of cash that the campaign will BE ABLE to use to EXTEND the reach into the SDT states ...and BEYOND!
And we can even REPUBLISH copies of "Common Sense" and get them out to the masses -- in a VERY affordable way!

I know bumping my own post is pitiful... but this idea IS gaining traction on RonPaulForum (where good ideas go to grow -- Nov5th, Blimp, TeaParty -- ...whereas while I've been mainly on DailyPaul, I'm starting to think this is the place where good ideas die 1000 deaths.)

Go ahead and yell at me with your caps lock key, but I can't afford to donate again on Jan 10th. I imagine many others feel the same. I need 5 or 6 weeks to replenish the RP coffers, if not more. In the meantime I'm organizing local events and spending more than I can afford on local grassroots campaign supplies. If you succeed in getting a Jan 10th money bomb movement, I wouldn't expect it to raise a huge amount. I'm just telling it like I see it.
Can you get out and help CAMPAIGN in a nearby state?
Say one of the early-but-AFTER Iowa & New Hampshire states?
Or one of the TWENTY ONE "Super-Duper-Tuesday" states?
If you read the actual post above (instead of just "assuming" its nothing but another money-bomb) -- then you would realize I am advocating MUCH MORE than just donating.
Rather we need to get a NATIONWIDE version of Vijay's "Operation Live Free or Die" going to get campaigning DONE with BOOTS ON THE GROUND in all of the above states.
Some money wouldn't hurt the campaign either -- and those who CAN donate certainly could. But the main emphasis would be to COORDINATE a massive "assault" and "assist" on the campaign within the above states, in order to turn the "WIN or SHOW" of the campaign in Iowa and New Hampshire into a NATIONAL effort.

How about we show our LOVE for Ron Paul on Valentines Day... I am not saying dont donate now... but for the next money bomb... this is MY suggestion....

We only have a shot at one more super day for showing support for Ron Paul.... I *AM* ENDORSING a continuous flow of money now... perhaps a few minor bomb days etc...
But for making a bunch of videos, getting people hyped up, emailng everyone, etc. etc. etc... it takes time and effort.... it cant be done overnight... I *know* we are tapped out now....
Its in the campaigns hands now to do its best.... I only suggest Valentines Day as a RE-FILL for the monies they have to spend NOW!!!
MONIES WILL STILL BE NEEDED FOR AFTER FEB 14TH.... we have given them most all we have for Super Teusday...
By February 14th the campaign will either HAVE
"mainstream" money support...

February 5th will make or break ALL of the campaigns.
The next money bomb should be on
the day RON PAUL WINS THE NOMINATION. Until then we donate when we can afford it. I've never donated before and thus far I have given about $375 in donations. I have NO DESIRE to "max out" as so many have done. I love Ron Paul and his message, but I love my family and the food we eat much more. ;) The idea of the money bombs was to create publicity and it is becoming obvious to me that the newest way we are being marginalized is to flat out ignore us and our movement. I suggest we focus now on the final 3-4 weeks of grassroots, because anything short of a strong finish in all the early primary states will kill the momentum we have generated thus far.

Not inspirational enough. Stick with the revolutionary theme - find a day that corresponds to that. It's a proven formula. Need to capitalize on anger towards the government.
April 19 is when the American Revolution started. That's one possibility.

We have done what we could with the money bombs, but now the pace of the campaign really quickens.
There will probably be an appeal from the campaign for the end of the quarter, and they will need as much as they can get for Feb. 5th, which might be the deciding day.
From now on, I think we should give as much as we can, as early as we can.

Coordinated dates are great - they show how Ron Paul's support is rising... they pull in whatever little media we can get for Ron Paul... perhaps Valentines Day we can show our LOVE FOR RON PAUL...

Wikipedia, plus ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA (1968 and 1974 print versions), as well as all of my (several) personal copies and editions of Thomas Paines works and books about him all agree it was published on January 10th, 1776.
That's solid enough for me.
Besides, the 10th is TWO days after New Hampshire... just enough to matter while not being TOO far away!

Hope I don't sound negative here, but I just gotta wonder- I've read several posts where someone is all gung ho to set up another fundraising day- I'm still hurting from yesterday! Did you give everything you could yesterday? I believe there is and was a purpose for the money bombs, but heck, let me catch my breath! i also think I'm gonna focus a little more on the independent efforts. Nobody else is going to reveal their 4th quarter numbers until the end of january, so the big story about how badly we beat them won't be out until several states have already had their primaries. The campaign has plenty of cash for centralized efforts, and I think we've milked the media for all the attention that these money bombs are gonna get. So it's time to hit the streets and hit the early states with some independent efforts.
If you want to set up your day, please don't let me stop you. But please understand that there may be other ways to win this election.

So I did everything ELSE that I could yesterday (sponsored a 5 county TeaParty event... sponsored the TeaParty + TWO [idea that didn't quite catch on because of the whole "Blimp hubub"]), etc.
I agree that swiping your credit card is NOT enough...
IMHO, the NEXT DAY needs to be MORE, MUCH MORE than just a "fundraising & party day" -- it needs to a day where we SHAKE the very ground with the sound of our boots...
And by that I mean getting EVERYONE out from there computers and ONTO the streets working the REST of the early states... and starting in on the Feb 5th states. (Since that includes about 1/2 of the country -- the OTHER HALF needs to merely visit the state NEXT DOOR... kind of like Vijay's OLFoD, but without the travel and motel costs!)
Going DOOR to DOOR nationwide campaigning and canvassing people is THE WAY to win this campaign!
