Mel can sure do this kind of brooding role.

"If you’re into political activism, at least for Ron Paul if not for anyone else, I strongly recommend spending some time with iroots.org." - Tom Woods

I just watched it, and I dont

I just watched it, and I dont see the connection to the liberty or ron paul movement.......

And it wasnt worth it either. Total bore, don't waste your time.

OK...let's just suppose, for a moment, that Randy Quaid is right-on. Mel comes out with this (how did he get backing? How did he get a distributor?)and then is thrust into the "loony" light. Charlie Sheen did his deal with Alex Jones about the 9/11 melarchy...and now, he's being thrown to the wolves. Does anyone know if Mr. Quaid has ever spoken out publicly on something political?
BTW, thanks for this thread!

Backing? He don't need no stinking backing.... :O)

The guy funded Passion of the Christ with 25 million of his own dollars.

The results?

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic: $370,782,930
+ Foreign: $241,116,490
= Worldwide: $611,899,420

How about Tom Cruise with...

I am not into movies

I need to find the trailer--

Regarding Palin: I believe we are watching in real time the rise of the third party, which will be controlled by the powers that be from its' inception.

How about some discussion of

How about some discussion of TV's portrayal of how law enforcement "works". Anyone familiar with the new Hawaii Five-O, Chase, Fringe, CSI, etc. should recognize the dozens of illegal and unconstitutional acts committed by public servants and portrayed as necessary to capture criminals and terrorists. Yes, it's just entertainment, but it's also dumbing down people and exposing them to the idea that the law can do anything it needs to do and get away with it.

I'd love to see some massive letter-writing campaigns to the top rated shows taking them to task for their portrayals.

I agree 100%... ever watch

I agree 100%... ever watch cops? I sit there and watch that and think.. thats unconstitutional he can't search with out probable cause ...lol

Long conversation

this evening with a friend about all the cop shows. People's rights are violated time after time and the general public seem to believe it is ok. Gotta catch them bad guys, ya know?? I am shocked by the large number of cop shows on. Just more "programming" and brain washing of the masses.
A couple of years ago my niece was pulled over for a tail light and they wanted to search her car and she let them. Well she had a pipe but no pot, but was arrested for paraphernalia. She had no idea that she had the right to say no.
Watching this drivel is what makes our country dumb!

Mel made "Conspiracy Theory" way back

a smart, hip thriller, that is way too close for comfort.
