Post-CPAC Straw Poll

This may have already been posted above, but has anyone seen this so called Post CPAC Straw Poll on the HOTAIR website. Take a look and notice who's name is missing. Typical neocon garbage. But what would anyone expect coming from the likes of Michelle Malkin.

A CPAC Poll That Excludes the Winner of CPAC?

lol

Hot Air = hot air

Hot Air is completely unreliable, openly and intentionally deceptive - a disinformation outlet.

kind of off the subject, but did anyone see Richard Dreyfus at the Ron and Rand panel with Woods and Hunter? He was walking thru the back of the room with a wool overcoat and an old style fedora. Thought he was a big lib.

The establishment GOP still ignors this poll...

The Republican will lose in 2012 if they nominate anyone OTHER than Ron Paul because Ron Paul also attracts many on the democrat side for his stance on the wars.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

Paul/Johnson 2012!

Anyone think it is time that a Presidential candidate and VP candidate campaign together during the primaries?? Is it possible? Could Ron Paul declare his run, and say that he would choose Johnson as his VP candidate, and they could campaign together as a team in the primaries? Is that "allowed" by the election rules? If so, we should really try talking to Johnson and his team to push for this!

Vote in NR's Poll!!

Standings

Ron Paul Won the CPAC Straw Poll. You Would Have Voted for:

Michele Bachmann 3 %
Haley Barbour 3 %
Herman Cain 5 %
Chris Christie 20 %
Mitch Daniels 24 %
Newt Gingrich 4 %
Mike Huckabee 3 %
Jon Huntsman 1 %
Gary Johnson 1 %
Sarah Palin 11 %
Ron Paul 8 %
Tim Pawlenty 4 %
Mitt Romney 8 %
Rick Santorum 3 %
John Thune 2 %

That ought to tell us something

Our man Ron Paul is favorite of "real" people, but the fact that the even the CPAC (and their puppet speakers) all give Paul the cold shoulder should tell us that the fix is in to squash him again. The GOP talking heads like Hannity, Coulter and Rush can't even bring themselves to mention Ron Paul. You gotta ask yourself "why"? You'd think he would have all of their enthusiasm behind him. Isn't the "conservative goal" to reduce the size of government? Isn't Ron Paul the champion of this? I believe Ron Paul is the only GOP that could beat Obama in 2012, but when it comes down to it, the so called conservative "power players" would rather see Obama returned to office. This gives them a good target to keep attacking. They could care less about the good old USA. It's all about the ratings for them. Real capitalists.

So many stories the is no time to read!

Almost every single news source has more than one article about the two Paul's (on multiple issues).

Two years ago it was rare to even see Ron's name mentioned. Whether positive or negative, he and Rand are the talk of Washington!

We need to mount an Anti

We need to mount an Anti media bias push or some sort, expose this crap once and for all, everyone knows it's there but some WELL edited 5 min clips could REALLY push it home.

maybe have one or two in a PSA format, one could be in a dramitized Infomercial format, one could be a "progressive style" 45 sec spot..

hell we could even make one in a VNR format just for kicks

make it appeal to the masses

I know some of you have the M4D SKi11z!

Jon Stewart

Hopefully Jon Stewart or Colbert will show the CPAC clip of Donald Trump saying "Ron Paul can't win," Then Ron Paul winning the Straw Poll.

Lol

Hahaha I would love that ! I also think it would be worth it for them to show parts of trumps speech. That speech sounded like "How to think like a Neo-Con 101". Trump really says in his speech that we're going to " take in billions and billions of dollars from countries that are screwing us". I literally laughed out loud. Was he implying that we should just drop bombs on other counties that sell their goods to us at prices he doesn't like? Or does Trump think that the president can tax the people Of other countries?

I noticed that comment too

How is Trump going to extract or tax billions of dollars from other countries? It seems this comment went un-noticed in the MSM. TR had gun boat diplomacy, maybe Trump could have gun boat economics. I guess he could send an air craft carrier group to the next OPEC meeting and demand increased production. LOL

not really what I had in

not really what I had in mind, but its a start I supose...

What Fox News has yet to consider

Here is the truth that most are not willing to accept. In reality the only republican who has even the slightest chance at beating President Obama is Ron Paul. One may laugh at first but after reading this, the only logical conclusion will be Ron Paul. First lets look at the Republican Party. In 2008 the Republicans lost because of an overwhelming disapproval of the Bush Administration. The main concern for independents was the preemptive wars and the loss of personal freedom.
Newt Gingrich has no chance of winning against Obama. Even if he won the Republican Nominee the independents who supported Obama will not support Gingrich. The Libertarians will not support him. The youth vote will go to Obama. So Obama’s base will be able to get out and win the election.
Mitt Romney would lose in an election to Obama for the same reasons as Newt Gingrich. Plus the media will portray the “Right Wingers” as a “racist group” who just will not support a “black man.” We can all say this is outrageous but it will be hard to explain why one would support Romney when the issue of healthcare was a major factor in the Tea party. Romneycare=Obamacare
Sarah Palin will have no chance of winning because half the country believes her to be unintelligent. Her belligerent comments make her look like a fool. For everything I disagree with Obama on, (which is mostly everything) he shows great character in not criticizing individuals. This is an admirable trait, which Ron Paul believes is right. Ron Paul is against pointing out individual’s flaws, only ideas. Dr. Paul never engages in the “he said, she said” nonsense, and that is why I support him. It’s called integrity. I am not one who hates Sarah Palin. I think she is cute and energetic. I do not want her to have the power of the executive branch, nor should she. During the debates Obama would humiliate her if she were the nominee for the Republican Party.
Mike Huckabee is a Baptist Minister. The independent voters will not support him. Anyone who is of a different religion, or no religion at all, will not vote for him. He would satisfy the view of the “Christian Right” but that is it. Barack Obama will defeat him if he had the Republican Nominee. If Huckabee got elected it would look really bad for America. The world will construe his victory as a religious war.
Donald Trump is a clown and has a long history of corruption, no chance.
Ron Paul is the only person I can think of that would be able to go toe to toe with Obama. Many Progressives that I know would support Ron Paul because of his stance on foreign policy, and personal liberties. Though economic liberties they differ on, they still strongly oppose the Federal Reserve.

Ron was just on MSNBC

He said "Eisenhower was elected to end the Korean war, Nixon was elected to end the Vietman war". IMO Obama was elected to end the current wars. If the Republicans want to win in 2012 they need an anti war candidate and thats Ron Paul.

That is the funniest thing ever.

Red for republican must mean communist

considering the reaction by GOP leaders and RedState.com it is the only thing that makes sense.

NPR article on Ron Paul CPAC win

good article - short simple - comments for those NPR people would be helpful...

Are you kidding me???

Mitt ROBme is being depicted as the fiscal conservative. The neocon/brainless Teaparty advocates are hypocritical fools. Every member of Foxnews and CPAC speakers argued for the repeal of Obamacare. Romneycare was Romney's platform healthcare solution which contained an unconstitutional federal mandate. Foxnews is a corporate news station that will only act in their own interests. If they want war we should give it too them. Lets give the "Fiscal Conservatives" hell for 2012. Go Ron Paul!!!!!!

We the People's picture

Let's not call names. His real name is Willard.

:P

And yes, he forced the people to have Willard care! And supports unconstitutional wars, so Fox loves him.

The GOP leadership is the

The GOP leadership is the only thing wrong with the Republican Party. The GOP leadership is in bed with the Neocon warmongers. The GOP leadership does not want to cut spending. The GOP leadership doesn't care about the Bill of Rights. The GOP leadership has to be replaced, or we have to go outside the Republican Party. That's all there is to it.

We can't work with these people. They are on the other side.

Celebrate

This is a competition.. Last election we were responding to them, because they were out front. Now they are responding to us. First rule of chess, if they aren't responding to your actions, then you are losing.

Now we need people on the CPAC board

Perhaps Rand Paul should make a statement…

… The sustained campaign by the GOP controlled media and the neo cons to marginalize Ron Paul will not play out well for the GOP nominated candidate in the 2012 presidential election. One could argue that this anti-Paul campaign in 2008 (excluding Ron Paul from the debates and not giving him equal time when he was included) hurt McCain badly. It cost him 8 votes in my family. They are digging their own grave with this anti-Paul campaign and bias reporting. That said, the average IQ in the neo con camp is so low that you could hardly credit them to understand the significance of their action.

Plano TX

WTF?

Coming in second place is more important than coming in first? If RAmney came in first and Paul second then first would be more important than second.

Winning is losing? Double think BS that is making me angry.

So lets figure this out. If Ron Paul was Mitt Romney then Mitt Romneys win at CPAC would be the toast of the town when in fact it was Ron Paul who won. If Mitt Romeny was Ron Paul Then Ron Paul's victory at CPAC would be down played to nothingness when in fact it was Mitt ROmney.

This is all a game. We know who won and why. They still don't get it.
