Rand Paul would "love to talk with" Obama and tell him that the Tea Party would work with Democrats.

Rand Paul was asked by CBS' "Face the Nation" host Bob Schieffer about what Obama said on that call, as the White House had said the president had called nearly all incoming Republican lawmakers.

"He hasn't got through to me yet ... I haven't heard that I've gotten a phone call," Paul said, adding that his kids wanted to meet the Obama girls.

Paul said he would "love to speak with" Obama and tell him that the Tea Party would work with the other side of the aisle.

"I want to be one of those who is part of the debate about how to fix this country," Paul said. "I want to expand the private sector ... I want to shrink the ineffective sector of the economy, which is the government."

Kids could play in the $50 some odd million dollar WH garden too

Somehow I just dont believe that this will happen.

Maybe they could all go on Disney channel with Mrs. Obama.

She is on there all the time now and my kids keep telling me they are sick of seeing her at every commercial break.

My kids like Disney (they are hooked) but they are really annoyed by Mrs. Obama and the sound of her voice saying the same thing every 10-15 minutes to them.

My one son keeps saying "Not again, please get her off my TV."
